A huge thank you to Chef Parsati for such an incredible cooking class experience! Learning how to make both vegetarian and chicken dumplings from scratch was so much fun, but what made it even more special was how much knowledge she shared along the way. Not only did we learn cooking techniques, but she also taught us about the nutritional value of using fresh herbs and ingredients to season the filling naturally. The passion, patience, and care she brought to the experience made it unforgettable. Amazing food, amazing energy, and an amazing teacher — we loved every minute of it and can’t wait to take another class!

We really enjoyed this class with Chef Polly. She made us feel welcome in her home and we learned different recipes that were flavorful and easy enough to prepare on our own. We've already prepared several of the recipes we learned in class at home and have recommended this class to friends. Definitely worth checking out!

Gluten Free Dumpling Delights class taught my friends and I how to make dough for steamed dumplings with ground chicken, veggies and spices and we also used rice paper for a lightly fried veggie with chickpeas and spices roll. We assisted making these rolls. Chef Parsati showed us how to make the sauces for them. We also made a chocolate, mango dessert with coconut flour and cardamon spice. We all really enjoyed the flavors of the hot foods. Chef was friendly, knowledgeable, social and helpful. Class was held in her home kitchen. She did prep work before we began and she cleaned up after we left. The table was preset for our meal. It was a lovely experience.

Wow--we made Vegetable Biryani (easily made vegan) which was amazing. We accompanied it with tandoori potatoes and halwa for dessert. Chef Parsati was so welcoming and encouraging, talking fast and working at the same time in her well-stocked kitchen. My son gave me the gift of the cooking class for my birthday and I brought a friend. I bought a spice box from Chef Parsati so I could make this festive meal at home. So excited. What a fun adventure. Highly recommend to all.

From chopping and mixing to sautéing, frying, and tasting, my two teenage boys had an absolute blast—every step of the cooking class was filled with fun and laughter. Chef Rajeswari was incredibly warm and welcoming; it felt like we’d known her for years! This was truly one of the best family experiences I’ve had with my teens in a long time. And the highlight? Chicken 65—my absolute favorite! It is a MUST-try!

She was so easy to talk to and guided us throughout the whole day and even prepared a few special side dishes along the way as well. We very much enjoyed our time with her making delicious food, and the cooking space is so beautiful as well with great scenery. Such a fun night! Chef Eddie was an amazing teacher, giving detailed instructions plus individual feedback and recommendations to everyone who attended. He also taught us a ton about soy sauces and how to mix different ingredients together to make the perfect dumpling dipping sauce. And of course all the food was exceptionally delicious. We've already discussed looking for more Chef Eddie classes to attend in the future!

We very much enjoyed Parsati’s class! We took Indian Cooking Techniques and learned how to make Chicken Pasanda as well as a rice, salad, and dessert. Parsati was very welcoming, friendly and is clearly an experienced cook in a variety of cuisines. She answered all of our questions knowledgeably, and explained the variations in techniques and ingredients necessary to make many dishes beyond the ones we were making. I’d definitely recommend any class taught by Parsati!

We attended Chef Parsati's "Exciting Dumpling Duos" lunch cooking class on May 17th, and it was a fun experience! My daughter and I enjoyed bonding while learning to make fried vegetarian and steamed chicken dumplings in her clean, well-organized kitchen. The class is great for beginners or those looking for a casual, hands-on activity. While the recipes were simple and the pace felt a bit rushed, Chef Parsati’s expertise and professionalism stood out. The price was on the higher side, but that’s expected for Bay Area experiences. I’d love to work with Chef Parsati directly for a more personalized class in the future. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable time!

We learned how to cook dumplings of several kinds. The best thing about Chef Parsati was how easily she demonstrated many possible variations of the dishes which catered to our dietary restrictions. The ingredients were healthy and her techniques ensured that the cooking time was sufficiently short to be adapted for a busy schedule. The dessert was amazing as well and I was amazed to see how efficient the techniques she demonstrated were. I will highly recommend this to everyone. This is a great bonding activity for couples.

This was our first-ever cooking class and Chef Raaje made it special. My husband is vegetarian so we opted for her class on Northern Indian vegetarian fare, including a delightful, simple-to-make potato curry, and a deeply flavored paneer butter masala. Rose lassi and warm roti rounded out our meal selection. Chef Raaje is a consummate host; she had snacks and drinks ready after our hour-long drive over. Her beautiful home and kitchen were sparkling clean. She gave us a short introduction and briefly explained the differences between northern and southern Indian food, as well as the philosophy of using the freshest spices and produce. I appreciate that our class was very hands-on. We cooked while stood to the side and answered questions we had. Our meal was delicious and we ate while Chef Raaje handled the dishes. (My least favorite part of cooking!) When we ended the evening, she gave us lovely parting gifts (including one for my daughter who wasn’t with us!) and printouts of our recipes — which I will absolutely be making again in the near future. I would absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend taking a class with Chef Raaje.

Chef Rajeswari was truly a delight. I can not stress how easy and personable the class was. From the moment we came in, Chef greeted us with a smile and took care of taking the time of not only explaining what we would be cooking, but also a bit about her self, her background and asked about us as well. She would make sure to constantly check on how we were doing while cooking, and would give us tips on what could be done if we wanted to make the food on our own time. Genuinely, can not express how much I recommend this class, it was a privilege learning how to cook from her.

Chef Rajeswari was great! She instantly made my wife and daughter feel at home. The food was amazing. She had so many tips! The experience was a surprise gift for my birthday, I would recommend this class to anyone who likes Indian food and wants to improve their skills in the kitchen.

Chef Polly was amazing! Not only was the food delicious but she was so warm, inviting, and informative. This is my third time doing a Cozymeal cooking class and my evening with Chef Polly was by far my favorite. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the experience and how tasty the meal was. 10000/10. Would highly highly recommend this class (or any class) that Chef Polly offers.

Chef Rajeswari is very proud of her culture and this experience included her sharing a LOT about Indian food. We chose the South Indian Brunch class for a date night. 1) We were greeted with a wonderful chai which made us feel warmly welcomed. 2) We LOVED the coconut chutney--Chef showed us the ways to add spice and bloom peanut oil to give it more dimensions. 3) Our favorite dish was the dosa and we cannot wait to try it with various options as a snack. All in all we recommend Chef Raje! This was a great date night and I could see it being a great mom-child experience or a mom's night out. Thanks!

We had SUCH a good time with Chef Parsati!! She made the class a very welcoming experience, in a homey setting, with plenty of hands-on instruction and fun. The recipes are _delicious_! My wife and I will 100% be making them in our kitchen, especially since Chef Parsati specifically talked about ways that we could adapt what she taught us to make them even more simple and easily even for a weeknight dinner. I really appreciated that she was super-cognizant of our dietary restrictions and went the extra mile to make sure our concerns were addressed and the meal was enjoyable for everyone involved.

This was an extraordinary class! Chef Rajeswari is impeccably organized, and everything was perfectly measured and arranged for us to use. Especially since this is a new class, I was amazed at how smoothly everything flowed - Disney could take notes from her on how to handle cleaning and transitions! We chopped the vegetables, chopped fresh herbs from her garden, and cooked/assembled all 4 dishes. I really appreciate how while we were assembling, she explained all the sorts of techniques and varieties in this style of cooking. For example, in our session I learned how to prepare the ginger garlic paste at home, the different varieties of Indian rice besides basmati, what sorts of oils work best for frying Chicken 65, and the delightful story of its name! Most important, of course, is the listed dishes themselves - and those were phenomenal. For the Chicken 65 we prepared the marinade and fried the chicken, along with the delightful touch of fresh curry leaves at the end. I've never made biryani before - that is why I took the class - and the biryani that we made was more delicious that what I've had at restaurants. The raita and lassi were simple and very good - and I learned, for example, that I can add milk (and even ice cream) to my lassi to make it a bit smoother. After taking this class, I feel that I can make these on my own. When we sat down to dinner, there was a ton of food that we'd cooked and it all smelled and tasted delicious. Chef Rajeswari also brought out a few items which were not on the menu that she'd prepared beforehand, and they were - of course - fantastic. Chef Rajewsari (and her husband) is kind, charming, welcoming, and an absolute delight to learn from. Her recipes are delicious, and she is just really fun to be with! I will be trying out the printed recipes on my own in a few days, and I fully intend to take more of her classes in the future.

Chef Mordechai is amazing. My pizza making cooking class with Chef Mordechai was the best cooking class I ever had. The class is fun and very hands on. Chef brought a lot of extra materials for everyone to have plenty to practice and nailed the techniques and everything tasted amazing. Chef also agree to show us how to use my own wood burning pizza oven and share lots of tips. I will definitely recommend this class to everyone!

Maggie was such a fantastic teacher and made amazingly flavorful food for us! I don't usually expect delicious Vegan European food, but this surpassed all my expectations. My favorite dish of the night was the ratatouille with each flavor note standing out beautifully and paired perfectly with a simple baked potato topped with hollandaise sauce. Yum! The best part was that all the dishes being so simple and healthy, are easily replicable any other time at home. We definitely learned a lot and cannot recommend her enough! Truly a wonderful birthday surprise!

We had such an awesome class with Chef Moti! He came to our apartment and was so organized with the recipes and needed equipment that we didn't have. The Mediterranean food we made through his guidance SO delicious, truly some of the best med food I've had (and big portions, enough for leftovers :)). He was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, collaborating with me to come up with a menu that worked for our group. He created a fun atmosphere that my family all enjoyed, we shared laughs and stories of life. He taught us cooking techniques that I'm excited to take into our everyday cooking. Chef Pooja showed my partner and I how to make some very tasty uttapams, dosas with a curry potato filling, and ladoo, all of which were new experiences for us! She was an expert guide in the cooking process, and did most but not all of the prep work, so we could participate a little bit in the prep as well as all the stovetop cooking. We also really liked the chutneys that were part of the dish! Pooja was also very personable and was easy to hang out with as we prepared and ate the food. We had a mix-up with timing for a previous reservation and she was very accommodating, and helped to plan a new time as well. All around a friendly, professional experience.

We had a most enjoyable cooking experience last night with Chef Lorenzo. He put us to work prepping much of the food and supervised as we cooked. He talked me through how to cook octopus which he brought to the house already cooked purely in the interest of time. I kind of hoped the octopus salad would be the top item for the night. It was. An added feature was that as we dined on the dishes he had us make, he washed the dishes. Wow! Five stars out of five for Chef Lorenzo and his Med. cooking class! Rich in San Leandro

What a terrific experience this was. Eddie was outstanding. I'm a school leader, and I know a good teacher when I see one - Eddie is top notch. He gave clear, kind instructions. Everyone got better in a hurry, and we had fun along the way. He was so thoughtful in the construction of the experience over the course of the evening. Couldn't recommend this experience more highly!
