Cooking Class - Traditional Pork Dumpling Essentials

Join Chef Edmund for a cooking class and dinner party celebrating the art of dumpling making.
Immerse yourself in the art of crafting dumplings by hand in this cooking class with Chef Edmund. He will guide you as you prepare wrappers and a succulent pork filling from scratch, and practice a variety of folding techniques, mastering the traditional pleats and edges.
Start the class with an exploration of umami by sampling a collection of the chef’s favorite soy sauces from across Asia. Round out this celebration of dumplings with braised pork belly, a vibrant dipping sauce, savory vegetables and a traditional red bean dessert.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Fantastic evening that surpassed our expectations by miles! Chef Edmund was the perfect host and teacher — super organized and knowledgeable. He broke every aspect of the process down into manageable bites (pun intended). We learned a ton and had so much fun. I highly recommend this experience!

Chef Eddie is THE MAN! He is incredibly knowledgable, and takes the time to ensure that you (the student) absorb the techniques and information he’s delivering. He breaks down cooking into the art of combining 5 flavors rather than of following exact recipes, an incredibly refreshing and delicious take on how to operate your kitchen. Overall 10/10! Thanks so much Chef! We’ll be back for the next class you offer!!

Eddie was an exceptional teacher, host, dinner companion! I really enjoyed this class and it gave me the greatest impression of CozyMeal. There's some really exceptional cooks in San Francisco and it's such a special experience to be invited into their home and cook with them. I loved learning to prepare the dumpling dough, roll, and stuff them. It was also a treat to learn about soy sauces and get to eat his other delicious food. Thanks chef Eddie!
