I couldn’t have asked for a better first cooking class experience. The class was intimate, friendly, beginner friendly and extremely rewarding. The menu the chef selected was great — shrimp scampi, ratatouille, lasagna, and cannolis. The space was clean and very well curated for everyone to have a hands on experience during the class. I also happened to take the class with some really funny people from different walks of life so it was a nice social experience too! I will definitely be taking one of chef Ricky’s courses again in the future and hope you all have a chance to check one out as well.

What an incredible experience! This was so much more than just a sushi-making class—it was entertaining, educational, and so much fun from start to finish. Chef Ricky was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much history and background about the ingredients, techniques, and traditions behind sushi, which made the class even more interesting. He also kept everyone engaged with fun cooking trivia, handing out gold stickers to those who answered correctly. It was such a simple but creative way to make the class interactive and enjoyable. We loved making all the different types of sushi, and the dessert sushi at the end was an unexpected and delicious surprise! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and personable, making it feel like you were cooking with friends rather than sitting in a class. This was one of the most unique experiences we’ve done, and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ve already been telling my friends they need to take this class, and I would absolutely do it again. Whether you’re a beginner or already love sushi, you’ll learn something new while having a fantastic time. Chef Ricky is awesome, and this class is a must-do!

This was a first for both of us and turned out to be a great evening with our host, Chef Ricky. Chef Ricky walked us through each step of the dishes we were to prepare. He is an entertaining guy who also shared the history of our dishes and origins of our ingredients as he made us feel comfortable using tools we’ve only seen used on the Food Network TV

We thoroughly enjoyed the creative and whimsical menu of Studio Ghibli inspired dishes, expertly crafted by Chef Vivian. If you are seeking a delightful and imaginative experience, or a unique date idea for couples, this offering comes highly recommended. Chef Vivian and Michi graciously welcomed us into their home, where we had the pleasure of engaging in the art of cooking. They are both wonderful individuals and exceptional instructors. We had a truly enjoyable time sharing and learning about culinary arts and cultural interests that we mutually appreciate. It was particularly pleasing that we prepared a four-course meal and were able to take home any uneaten portions. Additionally, a digital recipe list for each dish was provided. This class offers a relaxing, highly entertaining atmosphere, and the discussions were very engaging. For Mother’s Day this year, I bought two seats for a class with Chef Ricky. This was our first time ever doing a cooking class together and we did the Japanese A5 Wagyu lesson. We cooked an incredible steak- having the opportunity to eat A5 Japanese Wagyu is rare, and we were so grateful for the opportunity. Chef Ricky was so much fun to work with- I have a deep passion for Japan and he very clearly does as well, so it was really enjoyable to hear about his experiences with the culture and country- especially the food experiences! Cannot wait to try out his other classes in the future! Such a treat!

Chef Ricky was incredible! This was a gift for my wife's birthday and we had such an incredible time. Chef helped us put together a delicious A5 Wagyu full course meal. Aside from the great food, he is a great story teller and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Would highly recommend this experience for a special night and we look forward to booking with him again soon and bringing some friends along.

We signed up for the “The Bear” cooking class for a date night, we’re big fans of the show and figured, why not cook like it? Chef Vivian and Chef Michi were great, super easy to talk to, really down to earth, and made the whole thing feel comfortable. We had some really good conversations with them about their cooking backgrounds, what food means to them, and even got some cool travel tips for their home countries, Peru and Japan. The whole night just felt really warm and inviting just like hanging out with friends who just happen to be amazing chefs. The class was a four course meal, and honestly everything we made was great, but the two that really stood out were Sydney’s omelette with the potato chips on top and the risotto. That omelette was such a clever idea, and we’ve already said we’re making it again at home. It was quite easy and I may be investing in a new kitchen gadget for the house, a Japanese tamago pan! And the risotto’s something I’ve always avoided because it seemed like such a hassle, but the way they taught it made it feel totally doable, I’m actually excited to try it again. It was far less daunting than I thought. The after dinner, we got to play with Agar Agar to make some cool dessert pearls to top our ice cream with, we felt like a mix of a scientist and chef. What I appreciated most was how approachable it all was. The food looked and tasted like something from a nice restaurant, but nothing about it felt overcomplicated or intimidating. Nothing was too greasy or overly processed, just nice clean ingredients that made for tasty dishes. I’ve done other classes before where it’s rushed and overly fancy and you walk out thinking, “Well… not doing that again.” This was completely different, they showed us how to make impressive dishes that actually feel possible to recreate at home. And the little tips and tricks they shared really stuck with me, especially the tip about scoring mushrooms (we felt like pros) and not washing the flavor off before cooking. You get to cook and eat a full four-course meal, learn from two super talented chefs, and walk away with a fun memory you’ll actually want to tell people about. If you’re looking for a fun, cozy date night or just want to pick up some new cooking skills without feeling overwhelmed, I definitely recommend booking with Chef Vivian and Michi. It was relaxed, memorable, and just a really good time. We’ll definitely be back for another class.

Vivian and Michi were amazing! We had a great experience tonight making ramen from scratch. They were both professional in knowledge and very welcoming and friendly. They showed us in clear easy instructions how to make each items and the steps involved. They had answered all our questions and gave advice on how to change the dishes when making at home for new taste. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Chef Vivi and Michi are some of the most kindest and patient people I’ve ever met. I originally booked the kids sushi class as a gift for my daughter’s birthday and my husband also booked the ramen class for our anniversary. The ramen class was first and it was such a great experience. It was much easier than expected and everything was simply delicious. I definitely feel like I could go home and make my own ramen one day

Chef Ricky was absolutely amazing! You could tell right away that he was not only very experienced, but extremely knowledgeable about not just sushi, but lots of other food. He set a great atmosphere with music, and a food station set up like you would see in sushi bars, so you did everything that they would do.
