What You’ll Do

Follow in the footsteps of Anthony Bourdain in his favorite culinary country.

This cooking class offers adventurous foodies the chance to follow in the footsteps of Anthony Bourdain, recreating recipes from some of his favorite spots in Vietnam. Sign up, and you’ll learn from another world-class chef how to create a menu packed with some of the Vietnamese most renowned culinary exports.

You’ll master a recipe for a pork belly bahn mi sandwich with cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, carrots and daikon. You’ll also rustle up a chicken pho with rice noodles, bean sprouts, sriracha and hoisin sauce, plus a shrimp salad roll with a deliciously moreish tamarind dipping sauce. Finish with some fragrant mango sticky rice - this lesson is a delight!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ricky was engaging, informative, and obviously very knowledgeable. The Vietnamese cooking class was beginner oriented with detailed tips and techniques that were informative for more knowledgeable guests. It was obviously very well thought out with details like how to truss a chicken and deveining shrimp. It was fun.

a wonderful experience at this cooking class. The food we made was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming from start to finish. The chef was very helpful and patient, walking us through each step and making sure everyone felt comfortable. I especially appreciated how he shared detailed insights into the history and cultural background of Vietnamese cuisine—it added so much depth to the experience. I also learned practical skills, like how to properly clean and devein shrimp. Overall, it was informative, hands-on, and truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in great food and learning something new.
