Booked the class Pizza in the Oven with Chef Mordechai

Chef Motti was amazing - he arrived with everything needed to jump right into the class. We asked for more focus on making the pizzas vs the other recipes, so he brought those delicious dishes already made. The toppings he brought were top-tier - two different tomato sauces he made from fresh tomatoes, homemade bechamel, three cheeses, fresh herbs, sausage, vegetables, etc. We dove in to hands-on sessions where he taught us about making two kinds of dough and forming the pizzas. Then we all learned how to get them in and out of the oven (we used our wood-burning Ooni and the electric one he brought). My husband had been having challenges in our Ooni with the dough sticking to the peel when putting them in the oven and topping falling off when he removed them, and Chef gave him tips on preventing that and recommendations for better tools (I had bought an Ooni brand perforated peel and it didn't get enough of the flour off the bottom). We made sooo many pizzas, so we got a lot of practice, and had leftovers to feed some hungry neighbors later on. It was a fun and relaxing afternoon spent chatting, cooking and eating - our teen boys even enjoyed it. We look forward to finding another excuse to cook with Chef Motti!

Chef Mordechai is amazing. My pizza making cooking class with Chef Mordechai was the best cooking class I ever had. The class is fun and very hands on. Chef brought a lot of extra materials for everyone to have plenty to practice and nailed the techniques and everything tasted amazing. Chef also agree to show us how to use my own wood burning pizza oven and share lots of tips. I will definitely recommend this class to everyone!

We had so much fun at Chef Lorenzo's class! The food was great and tasted so good after a long day of work. If you are considering booking, I would highly recommend. Make sure to bring your own wine if you are interested in having some for your event, there is a wine store nearby if you need to make a trip. Will be booking this again for future team events!

Was hoping it was a bit more in depth like getting the fire going or making the dough. Just rolling the dough and adding toppings to put in the oven wasn't what I had expected. To be fair, Phoebe did answer questions but the focus then got further diluted in making donuts and gelato ... I thought I signed up for a wood fired pizza making class

I am still going to give Chef Daniel five stars for being genial and professional, even though it was very hard to navigate the neighborhood, as Santee is more of an alley than a street, and the building itself was hard to get into, with so many security features. I was late as a result.

The best part is enjoying the pizza. It tasted very yummy. I would recommended this pizza class to everyone. Chef Daniel was very organized, detailed. His studio was the best place to learn how to make pizza.

Chef Roger was amazing. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable and just all around great teacher. He made his class easy to learn and easy to achieve at home. He taught us new cooking techniques and even showed us how to make two amazing fresh salads from our own homegrown food. We had so much fun in this class. Chef Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and gives you a hands on pizza making experience. Before the class, he ensured we had the appropriate directions (with pictures) to find his place easily and truly set the tone for an awesome evening. We plan on taking other classes with him and would definitely recommend him to others. During the class, we made 3 pizzas and he was hands on the entire time- ensuring we knew what we were doing, explaining how ingredients were working together, and setting us up for success when we try the same thing at home.

Chef Cat was super nice and cheerful and passionate about the class. The setting was adequate and I like how we all participate and did so in groups sometimes. The instructions of how to following the class were a bit confusing even on the sheet afterward (for newbies). I wonder about having the sheet during class. The pizza turned out incredible and I made one with the dough I brought home. I was very happy with my results! I would like to give a tip also I see that's an option but also feel the class was pricey in addition to that.

Chef Cat was amazing! She was super informative and we loved that she split the class evenly so there was both group and individual instruction. Even with a class of 11, we got to be as hands-on as we could with the process. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer, salad, and the sides and toppings options for our pizzas. Chef Cat was friendly, easy to talk to and communicate with. We were also celebrating a birthday and Chef Cat was accommodating and very pleasant about it. Would 100% do this again. If you're still thinking about it: DON'T. Just do it. You will NOT regret it!

We had an awesome time learning to make pizzas with Chef James. He is fun to work with and took good care of us - there was a cheese plate with olives waiting for us on arrival, followed by all the pizzas that we baked (everyone gets to make their own pizzas, and then eat them too :D) and then a yummy dessert in the end. He walked us through the baking and the technical details around the ingredients and the process, as we were making our pizzas - so an informative session. He was open to questions and patiently answered each and every one of them! All in all, will recommend this class to any pizza lover out there! :)
