Join Chef Daniel and learn the art of creating the perfect New York slice.

Just because you’re in the Bay Area doesn’t mean you can’t experience a New York quality pizza. In this class, Chef Daniel will teach you the skills you need to whip up a flawless pie that would impress even a lifelong Brooklynite.

The most important part of a great pizza is making the perfect crust. You’ll learn the time-honored technique to mixing, kneading and stretching dough to form the New York crust you know and love. As for toppings, Chef Daniel will teach you how to make your own fresh ricotta, a delectable bechamel sauce and more. For your pizza feast, you’ll have your choice of a classic pizza margherita, pizza bianca with ricotta and fresh greens, pesto pizza and more.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Daniel was great! We really appreciate the extra mile in teaching us not just how to make a New York style pizza but also using fresh ingredients, learning about the ingredients , why they are used and how they are used. It was like a cooking class/science class. We learned a lot and we are excited to make pizza with our family. Chef Daniel was friendly and yet very professional. The cleanliness of the environment used for cooking was impressive. Definitely Covid cautious.

What a yummy way to spend an afternoon! Chef Daniel is the real deal and has a very zen way about him in the kitchen. We learned how to make NY style Pizza dough, classic and simple tomato sauce for a Margherita pizza, a pesto, and a bechamel for the white pizza. We even made fresh ricotta! He taught us the technique for shaping the pizza dough and made making pizza at home WAY less daunting but rather really enjoyable and fun! He gave us great tips along the way like what to place your pie on top of when placing in the oven. The speed at which you need to move when you're topping your dough on the pizza peel. All super helpful stuff. Highly reccommend ANY of his cooking classes. Thanks Chef Daniel!
