Cooking Class - Neapolitan-Style Pizza

Join Chef James for an authentic pizza-making class using fresh ingredients.

In this hands-on pizza-making class, Chef James will teach you how to make classic Neapolitan pizza completely from scratch.

You'll learn how to make homemade pizza dough, and stretch and shape it into rounds, then top it with the flavors of Italy. It doesn't get much better than the simple sophistication of this combination. Additional toppings will be available for other pizza combinations. Chef James will provide sides and a dessert to accompany the pizza.

Dough is demoed in class, but due to a three-day fermentation process, the dough used to prepare the pizzas will be made in advance.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Although James was a gracious host, the experience was underwhelming for $125 per person. This was mostly because the main part of creating a pizza is the dough and we arrived with the dough already made. In the description of the class, it says at the very beginning "You'll learn to make pizza dough from scratch". Unfortunately, this was false advertising and rather we merely added toppings to the existing pizza dough and baked the pizzas in the over.

Chef James did an amazing job, keeping it simple and delicious and adapting quickly to our style and needs. He is relaxed and natural and very knowledgeable. We all had a blast!
