Preheat oven to 400°F. Measure and prep all ingredients.
In a large cast-iron skillet, add the sausage and cook until browned, about 4-6 minutes.
Add the onion, diced bell pepper and half of the sliced mushrooms. Cook until slightly softened, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic cloves, garlic powder and crushed red pepper. Cook until fragrant, less than 1 minute.
Turn off the heat and evenly spread the marinara sauce on top of the meat mixture.
Top the marinara sauce with half of the mozzarella cheese.
Top the mozzarella with the sliced bell peppers and the remaining mushrooms.
Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices and black olives, if using.
Bake the crustless pizza for 15-20 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
