Booked the class North Indian Favorites with Chef Rajeswari in East Bay (Union City)

I took the North Indian Favorites class and had a great experience. Chef happily accommodated a few menu modifications for my group and shared practical tips for making flavorful Indian food at home. This class is especially perfect for a group bonding experience. Many components were pre-prepared (such as the samosa filling and cooked chicken), which kept the class moving at a good pace. It made the experience approachable, especially since most of my group had little to no cooking experience. I especially enjoyed learning how to wrap samosas. She also added thoughtful touches, including a personalized welcome sign and a sweet surprise since we were celebrating. One thing I wish had been communicated beforehand was that the class was shared. I had assumed my booking was private for my group of four, so I was surprised when I saw another attendee in class. Chef was friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the booking process. Overall, I'd recommend this class to anyone interested in learning to cook North Indian dishes.

Booked the class Vegan French Cooking Class with Chef Maggie in San Francisco (Outer Richmond)

Maggie was such a fantastic teacher and made amazingly flavorful food for us! I don't usually expect delicious Vegan European food, but this surpassed all my expectations. My favorite dish of the night was the ratatouille with each flavor note standing out beautifully and paired perfectly with a simple baked potato topped with hollandaise sauce. Yum! The best part was that all the dishes being so simple and healthy, are easily replicable any other time at home. We definitely learned a lot and cannot recommend her enough! Truly a wonderful birthday surprise!

Chef Parsati was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and scheduling (and rescheduling) of the class. The class was conducted in her home. We had a healthy menu with salmon steak, kale salad, and flourless fudge. She taught us how to substitute items and about the health benefits of a lot of ingredients. We had such an awesome class with Chef Moti! He came to our apartment and was so organized with the recipes and needed equipment that we didn't have. The Mediterranean food we made through his guidance SO delicious, truly some of the best med food I've had (and big portions, enough for leftovers :)). He was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, collaborating with me to come up with a menu that worked for our group. He created a fun atmosphere that my family all enjoyed, we shared laughs and stories of life. He taught us cooking techniques that I'm excited to take into our everyday cooking. We had a most enjoyable cooking experience last night with Chef Lorenzo. He put us to work prepping much of the food and supervised as we cooked. He talked me through how to cook octopus which he brought to the house already cooked purely in the interest of time. I kind of hoped the octopus salad would be the top item for the night. It was. An added feature was that as we dined on the dishes he had us make, he washed the dishes. Wow! Five stars out of five for Chef Lorenzo and his Med. cooking class! Rich in San Leandro

What a terrific experience this was. Eddie was outstanding. I'm a school leader, and I know a good teacher when I see one - Eddie is top notch. He gave clear, kind instructions. Everyone got better in a hurry, and we had fun along the way. He was so thoughtful in the construction of the experience over the course of the evening. Couldn't recommend this experience more highly!

Booked the class Traditional Pork Dumpling Masterclass with Chef Edmund in San Francisco (Hayes Valley)

10/10 this was an amazing class, and I strongly recommend it! Chef Eddie taught us how to prepare the dumpling dough from scratch. This consisted the kneading, the resting, the breaking off pieces, rolling them out, how to stuff and cook them. What I really appreciated what how creative he was in his teaching methods. For demonstration and practice, he had a rough practice dough for us to practice with while our dough was resting. He even had us practice pleating with Playdo, which I thought was brilliant! There was even a little camera to project what his fingers were doing onto a large TV, so that watch either the finesse of the fingers or the larger view. Chef Eddie also made sure to check in on how we were doing, and provided regular and frequent feedback so that we learned how to do everything correctly. And it worked - all the dumplings in our class survived! In addition, he also demonstrated how to braise pork belly (which was delicious), and how to prepare Tang Yuan as a rice-flour dessert variant of the dumpling. Chef Eddie had us try various soy sauces so that we could experience how they vary in flavor an quality, and also explained to us the stories and cultural significance of these dishes. I absolutely loved this class, and if any of my friends express curiosity in how to make dumplings I will immediately direct them to Chef Eddie. If I could take it again, I would!

We had a great time! Chef Elham opened up her home to us, had all the ingredients ready and provided a nice set up. There were 8 people in the class which made it a lot more fun. Such a great experience. The downside to it (nothing to do with the chef) the app needs to be more clear on the area that you’re booking the class in… And… There needs to be more communication before they take your money. This is legit class and the company is real. The way they book the class makes you feel like it is a scam. Other than that, Chef Elham made it a positive and fun experience.

I booked this experience with Chef James as a Christmas present from our grandma to her granddaughter. She's 11 and is interested in being chef. Chef James was wonderfully inviting and friendly from the moment we all stepped into his home, and enjoyed some cheese, meats, and anchovy stuffed olives. We then helped to cook the risotto, and enjoyed the fruits of our work :) The risotto was amazing, cooked perfectly and so flavorful! We also loved the dolce cake for dessert - it was a wonderful end to the evening. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

If you are a first time Chef or an experienced one, look no further than Chef Parsati. Not only did me and my date learn all about Indian cuisine, but we had a wonderful time with her as well. She talks super fast, but is incredibly knowledgeable and understanding to new cooks. She is also incredibly patient and I never felt that she was rushing us. Quite the opposite, I actually felt that she was more happy to share her craft with us, and I really couldn't be happier with the experience. The cauliflower dish we made was the best vegetarian dish I ever tasted and the lentils we made were to die for. Chef, thank you so much for making this night possible and I hope to come again soon!

We attended Chef Parsati’s class to celebrate my wife’s birthday and loved it! We did a vegetarian Indian class and made delicious aloo gobi, pilau, dahl, and raita all from scratch. Parsati led a very hands-on class and gave us helpful tips for the dishes we were cooking as well as Indian cooking in general. Her pointers on spices and sauces were especially helpful. Her kitchen and dining area was comfortable and clean and she made us feel welcome and covid-safe. Would definitely recommend for people looking for a lovely evening and new recipes!

Chef Parasti brings a warm reception, a cute, clean kitchen and a full life of locally trained international expertise to her cooking classes. Her experience living all over Asia, Europe and the US brought a really interesting perspective and flexibility to her cooking class - I loved the way she made fusion cooking accessible for us. Most impressively, Chef Parasti did an excellent job accommodating my allergies. Considering I’m a Celiac with shellfish and dairy allergies, this is a serious accomplishment because I cannot handle cross contamination in my food. Definitely recommend her class. I know I’ll be bringing my friends back for more.

Chef Parsati was friendly and welcoming and her kitchen was clean. I got to see the recipe being prepared close up and Chef was open to any and all questions. I chose this class as my wife likes salmon even though I don't eat fish. So how come I ate my whole serving? Because it was absolutely delicious. Tender, flaky and the unique spice seasoning was something i will use in other recipes. Their was also a kale salad that was really good. I don't typically use kale in salads but having see it slightly wilted using this method and with the sweet and tangy dressing, I will be rethinking. I feel confident that I now have the skills to cook this meal. Definitely recommend this type of class for beginners who want to gain some confidence in cooking certain dishes. Some hands on prep was involved but not a full station set up. A very enjoyable evening overall.
