Tender crisp and done in a cinch, air fryer green beans are easy to make when the oven or the stovetop is in use. Simply dressed in savory garlic, salt and lemon, these air fried green beans are nutritious and delicious.

green beans, trimmed
1 tblsp
avocado or vegetable oil
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp
granulated garlic
lemon wedges, to serve

Step 1

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F, if necessary. In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans, avocado (or vegetable oil), salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Place the green beans in the air fryer basket and air fry for 5 minutes.

Remove the air fryer basket. Add the garlic powder and toss with a pair of tongs to combine. (See notes 1.)

Air fry the green beans for another 3-5 minutes, or until crisp tender. Serve with a squeeze of lemon and more lemon wedges. Enjoy!

Notes:

  1. Adding granulated garlic later will ensure that it will not burn in the air fryer.
