Ingredients

Servings:
2
1
bunch kale
2 tblsp
olive or avocado oil
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
smoked paprika
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
freshly ground black pepper

Directions 5 steps | 20 Minutes

Step 1

Prepare the kale. Remove the fibrous stems and chop the leaves into 2-3 inch pieces.

Step 2

Wash the kale and spin in a salad spinner or shake through a colander until it is very dry.

Step 3

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine the kale, oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Toss to combine.

Step 4

Place the kale in a single layer on the air fryer basket. Fry for 5 minutes, flip and fry for another 2-5 minutes until crispy. Remove from the basket and let cool on a baking sheet, making sure the leaves do not touch. Repeat with the remaining kale.

Step 5

Enjoy!

Notes:

  • Change up the seasonings to keep things interesting!
    • For an Asian flair, try sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper. Top with sesame seeds.
