Lightly grease a microwave-safe mug with oil. Measure and prep all ingredients.
Whisk together the flour, sugar and cocoa in the mug. Add the baking soda and pour the vinegar on top until it fizzes. Stir it in.
Stir in the vegetable oil and the water, followed by the chocolate chips.
Microwave the vegan mug cake for 90 seconds.
Serve immediately topped with vegan ice cream or whipped coconut cream. Enjoy!
