all-purpose flour
2 tblsp
sugar
1/4 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 cup(s)
milk
3 tblsp
melted butter
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
sprinkles or powdered sugar, for topping (see notes for suggested variations)

Directions 5 steps | 3 Minutes

Step 1

Brush the inside of a microwave-safe mug with melted butter.

Step 2

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in the mug and whisk together.

Step 3

Pour in milk, vanilla extract and remaining melted butter. Stir until smooth.

Step 4

Microwave for 60-90 seconds until cooked.

Step 5

Top with whipped cream and sprinkles or toppings of choice. See notes for suggested variations. Enjoy!


Notes:

Suggested Variations:

  • Fold 2-3 tablespoons chopped candy, chocolate chips or fruit preserve into the batter.
  • Add a tablespoon of cocoa powder, matcha powder or protein powder in with the dry ingredients.
  • Top with whipped cream, chopped nuts, fresh fruit slices, chocolate chips or maple syrup.
