In the jar of a blender, combine the diced strawberries, lemon juice and sugar.

Pulse or blend the strawberries to your desired texture. The longer you blend, the smoother your strawberry milk will be. Transfer the strawberry syrup into an airtight container and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

When ready to serve, add about ¼ cup of the strawberry puree in the bottom of a tall glass.

I made these as a mid-afternoon snack for my kiddos and was the hero of the day for sure!! So much better than store-bought syrup!!
