Speculoos cookie butter is a smooth paste with a sweet flavor and texture akin to peanut butter or Nutella. Once made, this versatile spread can sweeten up apple and banana slices, or slide over ice cream when heated up as a homemade dessert sauce.

Notes:

  1. Biscoff is a popular spice cookie brand.
  2. Good news! This technique works with many different cookies, such as vanilla wafers, sandwich cookies, or any crisp cookie you like.
  3. If you'd like a shelf-stable version of this spread that needs no refrigeration, use organic coconut oil instead of butter.
