In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until evenly browned.
Drain the skillet of excess fat and add the diced onions. Cook the onions until translucent.
Stir in the diced tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes
Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese.
Once the cheese has melted and the mixture is well blended, stir in the crushed red pepper. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers. Enjoy!
- Ground beef can be substituted for ground sausage if desired.
- For a spicier dip, use spicy ground sausage and add a dash or two of your favorite hot sauce.
