Measure and prep all ingredients.
In a small nonstick skillet over medium heat, place two 2-tablespoon mounds of walnut pesto. (See notes.)
When the pesto starts to shimmer, crack one egg into each mound and cook to your desired doneness.
On each slice of toasted bread, spread the mashed avocado. Season with salt and pepper.
Place one pesto egg onto each slice of bread and top with a sprinkling of red pepper flakes. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
