Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil and top each baking sheet with a wire rack.

In a bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, bourbon, mustard, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper.

Place the bacon on the wire rack and lightly glaze one side of the bacon with the brown sugar mixture. Bake the bacon for 10 minutes.

Remove the bacon from the oven, flip the bacon over and glaze again with the brown sugar mixture. Return the sheet pans to the oven, rotating them from the last time they were baked. Bake the bacon for 10-15 minutes or until crispy.

So. Darn. Tasty. - Everyone in the fam loved this recipe. The smoked paprika addition was a nice one and elevated the flavors perfectly!
