4 tblsp
butter
2 tsp
finely chopped garlic
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 cup(s)
fresh dill, finely chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
For the Asparagus
3/4 lb
green asparagus, bottoms trimmed
3 tblsp
butter
4
garlic cloves, chopped
a splash of white wine
salt, to taste

Directions 6 steps | 35 Minutes

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix butter, garlic, garlic powder, dill, salt and pepper until well combined. Set aside.

Step 2

Place salmon on a large piece of aluminum foil. Using your hands, top the salmon with the butter mixture. Make sure the salmon is well covered with butter.

Step 3

Wrap salmon with the foil, place on the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes. Remove carefully from the oven, open up the foil and serve immediately.

Step 4

While the salmon is baking, prepare the asparagus. Bring a quart of water to boil in a pot and cook asparagus for 2-3 minutes. Remove from boiling water and reserve. Heat a separate pan and add the butter. Once the butter melts, add the chopped garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Step 5

Add the asparagus to the pan and cook for 1 minute, until lightly browned. Add a splash of wine to deglaze and evaporate, about 1 minute. Season with salt.

Step 6

Remove from pan and serve with salmon. Enjoy!
