Ingredients
Directions 9 steps | 33 Minutes
Prepare the strawberry Christmas hats. Rinse and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Slice a thin slice off the bottom of each strawberry and pat dry.
Melt the white candy melts (or chocolate chips) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after every interval. Dip the bottom of the strawberries in the white chocolate.
Dip the white chocolate into the bowl of finely shredded coconut. Skewer the toothpick into the middle of the strawberry and pierce the other end into the styrofoam to let the white candy melt set. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
Dip the halved mini marshmallow in the white chocolate and place it on top of the strawberry. Let it set completely.
Prepare the Grinch punch. Stick a red heart sticker in the center of each glass. In a large bowl with a spout, combine the lemon-lime drink mix, water and sugar until the sugar completely dissolves.
In a large punch or mixing bowl, add the lime sherbet. Pour the lemon-lime drink, pineapple juice, ginger ale and vodka, if using, over the sherbet. (See notes 1.)
Just before serving, dip the rim of each glass in water or corn syrup. Dip the rim into red sanding sugar and rotate to coat it completely.
Ladle the Grinch punch into each prepared glass.
Decorate with a skewered strawberry Christmas hat. Serve and enjoy!
