water
4 tblsp
butter
2 tblsp
brown sugar
2 tblsp
honey, plus more if desired
3/4 tsp
salt
finely chopped parsley, for garnish

Measure and prep all ingredients.

Prepare the carrots. Peel the carrots and cut them into ¼-½ inch thick rounds on the bias.

In a large saucepan, combine the sliced carrots and the water. Bring to a boil and lower the heat to simmer. Cook until the carrots are tender, about 8-10 minutes.

Drain off any extra water in the saucepan. With the heat on low, add the butter, brown sugar, honey and salt to the saucepan with the carrots. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and a glaze forms.

Easy to re-create Candied Carrots Recipe. Delicious and can go along with many dishes. I love it.
