Ingredients

Servings:
8
1 1/2 lb
Brussels sprouts
6
slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped
1 tsp
granulated garlic
1 tblsp
maple syrup
1/2 tsp
red pepper flakes
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions 5 steps | 35 Minutes

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil. Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming the bottoms and slicing them lengthwise.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium-low heat, cook the bacon until crispy and the fat is rendered.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, add the rendered bacon fat, sliced Brussels sprouts, granulated garlic, maple syrup, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Toss to coat.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture to the prepared sheet pan and roast the Brussels sprouts for about 15-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cook time will vary with the size of the Brussels sprouts.

Step 5

Remove from the oven and toss with the cooked bacon. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
