balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup(s)
white vinegar
1-3 tsp
stevia (see notes below)
7 oz
tomato paste
1 tblsp
smoked paprika
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1/2 tsp
salt
2 tblsp
butter

Step 1

Measure and prep all ingredients.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk the vinegar and stevia until dissolved.

Add the tomato paste, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt and stir until fully combined.

Bring the mixture to a boil and then bring the heat down to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

Whisk in the butter until stir until the butter is fully incorporated.

Barbecue sauce should be thick and glossy. Serve slathered on ribs or use as a dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Notes:

Start with 1 teaspoon of stevia. If desired, add more to taste.

I didn't know making homemade BBQ sauce was this easy. And it's keto-friendly (and great for keeping the sugar down for those of us who are watching our blood sugar levels)
