Step 1

Preheat the waffle iron. Place a wire rack in the oven and preheat to 200°F. Measure and prep all ingredients.

Prepare the dry ingredients. In a bowl, whisk together the 1:1 gluten free flour blend, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Prepare the wet ingredients. In a second bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, melted unsalted butter and vanilla extract.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and smooth.

Pour the amount of batter called for your waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove the waffle into the oven to keep warm while you make the next batch of waffles.

Serve topped with berries, a dusting of powdered sugar, a pat of butter and maple syrup. Enjoy!
