Place a 9x5-inch loaf pan in the freezer. Measure and prep all ingredients.
In the bowl of a food processor or the jar of a blender, add the avocados, sweetened condensed milk, 3 tablespoons lime juice, vodka and salt.
Blend until completely smooth. Transfer the mixture into a large bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer while you whip the heavy cream.
In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Remove the plastic wrap and add one-third of the whipped cream to the condensed milk mixture and fold.
Repeat until all of the whipped cream has been folded in. Taste the ice cream base and add the final tablespoon of lime juice, if desired.
Remove the loaf pan from the freezer and pour in the cream mixture. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
