In fact, many diners go to Lamplight Lounge specifically to get secret menu items. It’s just that these items aren’t officially on the menu, but you can ask any bartender for them, and they’ll know what you’re talking about.

So, if you’re going to find yourself at Lamplight Lounge soon, here are the secret menu items you have to try!

Does Lamplight Lounge Have a Secret Menu?

Yes, Lamplight Lounge has a secret menu, but it isn’t the best-kept secret. It’s pretty well-known among Disney enthusiasts, especially those who frequently visit Disney California Adventure. The vast majority of these hidden menu items are drinks, but there are a few food hacks to know as well.

While the secret menu items won’t be seen on the official menu, most of the staff will know them by name as they have become so popular. Despite the fact that the bartenders will probably recognize the secret menu items, it’s a good idea to screenshot or write down the ingredients of the Lamplight Lounge secret menu item you want to try. This way, you’ll be able to tell the staff how to make it if it’s not that well-known.

When ordering Lamplight Lounge off-menu items, always be patient with the staff and understand that the customization may not be able to be accommodated. Also, note that the price of the menu item you are customizing may increase. However, if you can get your hands on the Lamplight Lounge hidden menu items, it’s well worth it!

How We Create This Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu Guide

At Cozymeal, the team has over 10 years of experience in the food industry. This includes connecting foodies with culinary experiences, like cooking classes, and creating in-depth guides and articles on topics ranging from cooking tips to restaurant round-ups.

One exciting editorial area we specialize in is the world of secret menus. Many fast food and fast casual restaurants have these hidden menus, complete with unique food and drink items, and we set out to share the best custom orders with our audience.

In this instance, we’re focusing on Disney California Adventure’s Lamplight Lounge. To create this article, we first turned to our own dining experience at this Pixar Pier eatery, covering our favorite secret menu items.

To expand our guide to the Lamplight Lounge secret menu, we undertook research, scanning Disney-specific blogs and social media accounts on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, as well as subreddits focused on the topic.

The result is a curated guide to the best Lamplight Lounge secret menu items, complete with ordering instructions to make getting your hands on these items easy for both you and the restaurant staff. When covering the Lamplight Lounge secret drinks menu, we also offer a food pairing suggestion from the official menu for those looking to get a complete meal.

Disney Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu Drinks

1. Neverland Tea

Taking inspiration from Peter Pan, Neverland Tea is one of the most popular drinks on the Lamplight Lounge secret menu. The tropical taste of this rum cocktail is attributed to the addition of pineapple juice and melon-flavored Midori, which gives it a vibrant green color.

This beverage also includes rum, vodka and peach schnapps and is topped off with Sprite. It's one of the more alcohol-heavy drinks on the menu — and we could definitely taste it when we tried it — so be prepared for the buzz. Due to its popularity, you should be able to order the Neverland Tea by name.

How To Order

  • Pineapple Juice
  • Midori
  • Light Rum
  • Vodka
  • Peach Schapps
  • Sprite

Recommended Food Pairing: Thai Seafood Pasta

2. The Sea Witch

A drink that is sure to be a favorite of Ursula, The Sea Witch is a bubbly and fruity vodka cocktail that is as pretty as it is delicious. It has raspberry vodka, peach schnapps and blue Curaçao, paired with Sprite and cranberry juice.

Tart and refreshing, we absolutely love this drink on a hot summer day. It's perfect to refresh and relax after exploring the park.

You can ask for this Lamplight Lounge secret menu item by name, and your server should know what it is, but arrive with the ingredients list — provided below — just in case.

How To Order

  • Raspberry Vodka
  • Peach Schnapps
  • Blue Curaço
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Sprite

Recommended Food Pairing: Roasted Squash Panzanella Salad

3. Fun Wheel

Featuring layers of vibrant colors, Fun Wheel is one of the most fun secret menu drinks — just as the name suggests! Unless you ask for certain ingredients, there are two variations of this drink that you may get.

The most common blend features X-Rated Passion Fruit Vodka, plus pineapple juice and blue Curaçao. The other version has vodka punch, Chambord (a raspberry-flavored liqueur) and peach schnapps.

Both variations result in a photogenic (and tasty) three-layered cocktail. And, we find that both are just as delicious. If you want something very tropical, we suggest going for the passion fruit vodka version. If you want something more tart and fruity, opt for the Chambord and peach schnapps option. Or, try both — we won't tell!

How To Order

  • X-Rated Passion Fruit Vodka
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Blue Curaçao

Or

  • Vodka Punch
  • Chambord
  • Peach Schnapps

Recommended Food Pairing: Beer-Battered Onion Blossom or Roasted Squash Panzanella Salad

4. Zombie

If you’re feeling like a zombie, revive yourself with a Zombie from the Lamplight Lounge secret menu. Inspired by the classic tiki cocktail of the same name, this drink features a combination of rums, including light, dark, coconut and spiced rum, with the addition of orange and pineapple juices, blue Curaçao, Midori and grenadine.

It comes out in a greenish-brown color that may look like zombie skin, but is much more delicious. Some do find that the flavors compete too much and it feels a little muddled. However, we found that all the ingredients work quite well together.

If anything, we would recommend leaving out the spiced rum and potentially the dark rum to make a more balanced, tropical drink. If you do want to try it as is, simply let the bartender know that you'd like a Zombie, and they’ll likely know what you’re talking about.

How To Order

  • Light Rum
  • Dark Rum
  • Coconut Rum
  • Spiced Rum
  • Orange Juice
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Blue Curaçao
  • Midori
  • Grenadine

Recommended Food Pairing: Potato Skins

5. The Black Pearl

This Lamplight Lounge secret menu item is like a tropical spin on a Long Island iced tea. It features a mixture of gin, rum, vodka, Triple-Sec, Chambord and sweet and sour mix. To finish, it’s topped off with Sprite.

The result is a pretty drink that resembles a sunset with red, pink and orange shades. While nice to look at, we found that it had quite a bold flavor and is strong due to the multiple types of alcohol, so keep this in mind when ordering.

How To Order

  • Gin
  • Rum
  • Vodka
  • Triple-Sec
  • Chambord
  • Sweet and Sour Mix
  • Sprite

Recommended Food Pairing: Charbroiled Cheddar Burger

6. The Earthquake

The Earthquake is often considered to be the most potent and alcohol-heavy item on the Lamplight Lounge secret menu. It has vodka, gin, 151 rum, light rum and blue Curaçao, plus sweet and sour mix and Sprite.

It tastes similar to a Long Island iced tea, so if you like that cocktail and don’t mind a heavier drink, The Earthquake is the way to go. Ask a bartender or server for it by name, and they should know what you mean.

How To Order

  • Vodka
  • Gin
  • 151 Rum
  • Light Rum
  • Blue Curaçao
  • Sweet and Sour Mix
  • Sprite

Recommended Food Pairing: Prime Rib

7. Melrose Place

This drink from the secret menu at Lamplight Lounge is a nod to the park’s origins and was originally featured on the secret menu of Cove Bar. Melrose Place is a Long Island iced tea with the addition of strawberry purée and Regale Berry-Rosé Champagne.

It’s a beautiful and luxurious treat to enjoy and comes garnished with a lemon wedge and strawberries. As this Lamplight Lounge secret menu item is a little less well-known than some of the others, you might have to provide the ingredients to the server or bartender.

How To Order

  • Long Island Iced Tea
  • Strawberry Purée
  • Regale Berry-Rosé Champagne
  • Lemon Wedge and Strawberries Garnish

Recommended Food Pairing: Roasted Squash Panzanella Salad or Herb-Roasted Chicken

8. Sideshow Novel-Tea

This Lamplight Lounge secret menu drink is truly passed around like a secret. While it was featured on Cove Bar’s secret menu, there’s a good chance that you’ll have to ask a bartender to make it custom for you (i.e., unlike many drinks on the Lamplight Lounge secret menu, this one probably won't be known by name alone).

It’s made with Absolut Wild Tea Vodka, iced tea, strawberry purée and lemon juice. To finish, it’s garnished with strawberries and cherries. This secret menu drink at Lamplight Lounge is definitely worth asking for, even if the bartender needs the ingredients list provided.

How To Order

  • Absolut Wild Tea Vodka
  • Iced Tea
  • Strawberry Purée
  • Lemon Juice
  • Strawberry and Cherry Garnish

Recommended Food Pairing: Brussels Caesar

9. Midway Martini

If you don’t mind straying from the more popular offerings on the Lamplight Lounge secret menu, you may want to consider the Midway Martini. This drink includes apple vodka and Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur mixed with cranberry juice, agave and lime.

Do note that the exact ingredients may not be available, so you might need to customize it even further to get something similar. Your bartender or server might not have heard of it either, so arrive with the full ingredient list (as always, listed below) if you want to taste this fruity yet slightly spicy blend.

How To Order

  • Apple Vodka
  • Domaine de Canton
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Agave
  • Lime

Recommended Food Pairing: Impossible Burger

10. Dole Whip Shot

Dole Whip is one of the most popular treats to get at Disney. And with this Lamplight Lounge secret menu hack, you can turn the classic treat into an alcoholic beverage. The Dole Whip shot at Lamplight Lounge is pretty well-known, so you should just be able to ask for it by name.

While it’s called a ‘shot,’ it comes in a short glass instead of a standard shot glass and features coconut rum and vanilla vodka, plus pineapple juice and whipped cream, with the latter two ingredients mimicking the Dole Whip.

We found that the result is something that resembles a slushie piña colada. If the large shot isn’t enough, you can get a long cocktail version for about $5 extra.

How To Order

  • Coconut Rum
  • Vanilla Vodka
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Whipped Cream
  • Confirm Shot or Long Drink

Recommended Food Pairing: Bananas Foster Donuts (or current seasonal donut offering)

Other Disney Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu Items

11. Veggie Burger

In recent years, Disney has added quite a few vegan and vegetarian options to its theme park food offerings, including an Impossible burger at Lamplight Lounge. However, if you want a few extra vegetarian options, look to the Lamplight Lounge secret menu!

What many don’t know is that you can sub the Impossible burger patty into any of the other burgers on the official menu, allowing you to enjoy the various toppings offered, but with plant-based protein instead of meat.

  • Remove: Meat
  • Add: Impossible Burger Patty

12. Secret Nachos

Another of the food hacks on the Lamplight Lounge secret menu is an update to the official menu’s lobster nachos. If lobster isn’t really your thing, you can enjoy the nachos, which include additional toppings like pico de gallo and chipotle crema, with chicken or steak in place of the lobster.

If you’re feeling luxurious, you could get both chicken and steak or make surf and turf nachos by getting the lobster nachos as they come and asking for steak to be added.

A Note on Lobster Nachos

It's important to note that the lobster nachos — despite being incredibly popular — are no longer on the menu downstairs at Lamplight Lounge. They may be available upstairs, but we don't recommend counting on it.

If you do eat downstairs, you can still ask if they have the ingredients to make chicken or steak nachos from the secret Lamplight Lounge menu; you may get lucky! But ordering the surf and turf variety with lobster may not be possible.

The Lamplight Chilaquiles on the brunch menu also have tortilla chips, meaning the chips may be available in the kitchen to create custom nachos with toppings other than lobster.

How To Order

  • Lobster Nachos
  • Remove: Lobster (optional)
  • Add: Chicken or Steak

How To Order From the Lamplight Lounge Secret Menu

Ordering from the Lamplight Lounge secret menu at Disneyland is relatively straightforward, as most of the items are known by staff. Due to this, ordering can be as simple as requesting the drink or food item by name.

However, if this isn’t effective, politely explain the order to your server. This can be done easily by using the “How To Order” guide we have added to each Lamplight Lounge secret menu item in the list above. While only ingredients are included, the staff should be able to determine the measurements themselves.

As mentioned earlier, be patient with staff when ordering off-menu items at Lamplight Lounge and always be understanding if the order can’t be fulfilled or if slight adjustments are needed. The price of these items can also vary, so be accepting of this and confirm the price before the order goes through if this is of concern.

What Is the Pineapple Drink at Lamplight Lounge?

The Pineapple Drink on the Lamplight Lounge secret drink menu is called the Dole Whip Shot and comprises Coconut Rum, Vanilla Vodka, Pineapple Juice and Whipped Cream. The beverage is intended to mimic the popular dessert Dole Whip, with the welcome addition of hints of vanilla and coconut.

What Is the Zombie Drink at Lamplight Lounge?

The Zombie Drink on the secret menu at Lamplight Lounge is a cocktail based on a tiki drink of the same name. The beverage has a mix of four types of rum: light, dark, coconut and spiced.

Orange and pineapple juices, plus blue Curaçao, Midori (a melon-flavored liqueur) and grenadine are added to round it out.

Its name is thought to come from the color of the beverage. When the ingredients mix, they create a greenish-brown shade that mimics zombie skin.

Can You Get Lobster Nachos at Lamplight Lounge?

The lobster nachos at Lamplight Lounge have been one of the most popular orders for a long time. Despite this, they disappeared from the menu in 2025. While no longer available at all downstairs, you may be able to get them upstairs.

The removal of the lobster nachos from the official menu may also make it impossible to get the Lamplight Lounge secret menu nachos, which see the lobster replaced or paired with steak or chicken.

Why Were Lobster Nachos Removed From the Lamplight Lounge Menu?

If the lobster nachos at Lamplight Lounge were so popular, why were they taken off menus? While an exact answer isn’t known, there appear to be two possible answers.

The first is that lobster prices have increased sharply in recent years. According to Seafood News, supply has decreased and trade patterns have been altered while demand has increased, resulting in higher market prices. While Disney is known for high food prices, current lobster prices may mean the nachos have to be priced beyond what most guests are willing to pay.

The other possible reason is that many people went to Lamplight Lounge solely for the lobster nachos. Tables were taken up by groups ordering one dish, reducing overall revenue for the restaurant.

If the former is the problem, the dish may return if lobster prices drop. If it’s the latter, they may never reappear on the Lamplight Lounge menu.
