I booked this cooking class as a gift for my parents and they both had a wonderful time. They really enjoyed trying some new kinds of food and meeting the others in the class and said Chef Ziva was a great teacher and really fun to take a class with. They came home excited to try lots of new cooking techniques!

I was impressed right from the start with her warm greeting, bright smile, and excitement to show us her magnificent meals. The food was exceptional and I never thought going into the night I would learn so many new tips from Chef Zenaidy.??? I can’t wait to bang out that panna cotta recipe for my friends sometime! My fiancé and I would highly recommend this cozymeal experice with Zenaidy! We won’t forget it!

Wow! We had an absolute blast with Dirk - an excellent evening out and much more interesting and engaging than just going out for dinner. The cooking class was advertised to be 3 hours but we ended up leaving staying and enjoying our food for another 90 minutes. Dirk was a pleasure to be with, we learned a bit about cooking, and we spent a lovely evening in his beautiful home. I am glad I did this and I look forward to the opportunity to do it again!

Short review - "Chef Joni is amazing!". Long review - We went as a small group (size=8) and we cooked a big pot of Paella. Chef Joni was actively making sure everyone was involved and learned something new! She paced the evening with right amount of explanations pertaining to the recipe and general cooking concepts. She also graciously accommodated the request for a vegetarian paella by some of us. We had great fun and ate a great meal (including appetizers and a cake at the end!). Thank you Chef Joni for the fun evening :)

Thank you so much for helping make my girlfriend's birthday a little more special. Chef Dirk is full of energy and makes sure that his guests know exactly what they're doing so that the assembly line keeps chugging along, all while making it fun at the same time. He also has jokes for days. The produce are locally sourced in his backyard and he makes sure that all the ingredients he buys are fresh. When we were finally able to eat the food, it was very satisfying and enjoyable. The other people who came to cook also made the atmosphere very welcome. I recommend booking with Chef Dirk!

Chef Joni was amazing! She was so much fun to cook with. She taught us great cooking skills but was careful to meet us where we were at in our culinary experience, and she never made us feel intimidated. One of my favorite parts of the experience was that she brought in alot of food science into the class which helped us to understand what was happening with our food and why at certain points in the process. I would highly recommend taking a class with her!

My husband and I enjoyed Chef Dirk’s German cooking class! We spent several hours at Chef dirks beautiful home in San Francisco, the kitchen and dining area were very cozy and perfect for our small class. During the class, we learned a lot about German culture and tips and tricks for the dishes we were prepping. I also enjoyed learning on how to keep my kitchen and prepping space more organized, clean and efficient! Chef dirks techniques and system while working in the kitchen were inspiring. The class was very hands on and the dishes were delicious and worth the wait! We also enjoyed the focus on plating our dishes (the dishes were almost too pretty to eat). Throughout the class, Chef dirk was engaging, personable, funny and entertaining. He also was open to answering many of the questions I had Throughout the class. He was a great teacher and host (his strong background in hospitality management showed)! We ended up going over our time but I didn’t mind since we were having so much fun! Would recommend for an intimate afternoon or evening learning how to cook!

Our pie-making class was wonderful! In just one evening, we made sweet potato pie, apple crumble, chocolate bourbon pecan tart, and extra pie dough! Christine taught us techniques for the next time we make pie or tart desserts so that they are just a notch closer to what you'd find in a professional bakery (flaky crust, clean edges, learning how to tell when pie is done, etc.). I loved Christine's approach to baking- not fussy or tool-intense. She gave really helpful advice and feedback throughout the class and let us do everything so we were actually learning and not just watching. Christine is warm, funny, personable, and talented. It was a joy to bake with her for an evening and we highly recommend her for any baking class!

We had an amazing class with Chef Dirk. Perfect for a team offsite. Chef Dirk was super energetic (and funny!) throughout the class. The food was delicious (+ we got great pointers on table setting and plating)! We had a few vegetarians in the group and he accommodated perfectly. This was the best part of our team offsite and would highly recommend.

Joni is a fabulous instructor! My wife and I had an incredible experience learning Italian cooking in Joni’s very cozy space. Joni is knowledgeabe and creative in specific kitchen skills, and has expertise in the science behind food and cooking. We learned so much about what different cooking techniques do at even the molecular level. On top of all her knowledge, Joni is friendly, engaging, and a patient instructor. It felt like good friends cooking a meal together. We could not have asked for a better experience!

home was beautiful and I know 2 hours isn't much time to prepare meals together, but I would have liked more involvement for all of us to prep the meals. I wasn't happy with so many carbs and the flatbreads were missing spices. Potatoes were the highlight. Bruschetta were boring. needed some basil.

We had a wonderful experience in Chef Phoebe's beautiful kitchen for our French-Japanese fusion team building event. Chef Phoebe balanced the evening very well between providing direction, letting us get our hands dirty, and also taking action to help get some of our courses on the table. It was enough to keep us all engaged, but give us a chance to enjoy some wine and connect as a team. Fantastic results! Chef Eliose did a wonderful job of allowing each of us to participate in the baking process, and the outcome far exceeded our expectations. We each got to take home a dozen beautiful macarons, and she even gave us a bottle of bellini to enjoy.

Unlike many other meatballs in the restaurant, the savoury tradition meatball dish that we had with James was authentic and made from very fresh ingredients (only the best) that makes it extremely enjoyable - one that you cannot miss if you haven’t already tried it. It leaves a lasting impression on our stomach and minds; we constantly crave for more. At the end, we had the most tasteful blueberry cheesecake that we thoroughly enjoyed. Beyond the food quality, James is a very down-to-earth person who is knowledgeable in his expertise and is warm, patient and friendly. These attributes contributed to our very fun-filled cooking class. He was also very thoughtful in the dinner set up with the candles and music which made the ambience very pleasant and romantic (you could even think of it as a candlelit dinner in the comfort of your own home) I would love to come back to the cooking class with him when I am back to San Francisco, I think our flight of 15 hours from Singapore is all worth it. Bravo to Chef James! I will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dinner party or just a private cooking class! He is THE Chef you are looking for. Too good to say good bye ! Phoebe was incredible! We were visiting from out of state and she provided us with the most awesome experience. She took us through the Ferry Building, giving us insight on the different shops and stands as well as tips for future farmers market shopping. Then we went to her lovely home where we cooked an absolutely delicious and beautiful meal together. We had somewhere to be that afternoon and she was very mindful of our time as well. I would recommend her 10/10!!!
