We booked Chef Jordan's cooking class for Father's Day and it turned into one of our favorite family memories. From the moment we arrived at his house, the whole experience felt warm and welcoming, and the kids were hooked on the activity right away. We honestly had more fun than we ever imagined. What really got me was watching my picky eater. She is usually hesitant to try anything new, but she was excited and happy to taste every dish we made. Chef Jordan has such a great way with kids, patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about cooking. Since the class, my kids have been showing real interest in cooking, asking to help in the kitchen, and talking about what we made that day. We will be cheering to this memory for years to come. Highly recommend Chef Jordan for any family looking for a fun, hands-on experience that might just spark a new love of cooking.

What an incredible experience! Chef Jordan gave us far more than a meal, he gave us an education and a memory we'll be talking about for a long time. His knowledge of food as medicine was fascinating, and his calm, welcoming demeanor made the entire experience feel approachable and fun. The food itself was absolutely epic, but what really made the day special was everything we learned along the way. From proper knife skills to new ways to cut and prepare fruits and vegetables, Jordan shared techniques that will change how we cook at home. He even managed to convince our palates that not all peppers are created equal! Today was fun, unique, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for as an anniversary cooking experience. Great! Exceeded my expectations. Chef Marty provides a charismatic experience that helps you understand not only how to cook like a chef, but I would argue, she teaches you how to think like a chef, paying attention to so many details I would normally overlook. Her approach is holistic, paying attention to timing, color, texture, aroma, even ambient humidity! And so much more that I learned last night, I can't list them all here. So many things go into what you see on the plate, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher to help me appreciate the art of cooking. High recommendations from Zen. Thanks again Marty. Our experience with Chef Jordan was a perfect blend of a fine culinary session and back yard bbq. We kicked things off with a special cacao opener. We learned useful prep techniques, enjoyed 3 courses of organic and responsibly sourced food, garden fresh herbs, and specially made sauces. We enjoyed steak frites with a lakeside sunset view and finished with a wonderous dessert with surprising ingredients. It was an evening full of music, clean upper scale food, useful information, great conversation, and generous left overs. Truly elevating!

Everything was really well planned out and it was great meeting new people and sharing dinner with them as well. Also there is absolutely no issue with the porta potty, super clean and Chef Marty even offer us her personal bathroom if we wanted.

Me and my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary with Chef Jordan! It was a super fun experience! His home was clean and cozy, and he really made us feel more comfortable in the kitchen! We had basically no experience with cooking and we really got the opportunity to learn more! He was professional and kind, and the food was healthy, fresh and amazing! We even got to take the extra food home and it kept us fed for almost a week! Chef Jordan was also more than helpful when it came to directions and helping me find a place to stay in the area. I would highly recommend him and this course! He himself was plant-based as well, so it was really nice to connect with a plant-based chef!

5 stars is not enough stars to accurately review our experience with Chef Marty. I bought a CozyMeal gift card for my mom's Christmas gift. We did Marty's Pasta Fresca course where we made Bruschetta, Pappardelle pasta, and Tiramisu. We learned and laughed the whole 3 hours. The next morning, my mom said it was the most memorable gift she's ever been given. Marty was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and truly made you feel at home. Chef Marty was wonderful and I would highly recommend this cooking class! I went for a girlfriend's bachelorette party and it was the highlight of our weekend. She was friendly, enthusiastic, and fun! Additionally, she was so accommodating to our dietary restrictions. One of our guests was vegan and while we all participated in the normal menu, she created a special vegan experience for our friend. I would definitely take another cooking class with Chef Marty!

My husband gifted me the Thai Cuisine Fundamentals class for our anniversary and we had such a great time! Before our class, Chef Jordan reached out about any food allergies and was kind enough to cater to my wheat and dairy restriction. Upon arriving at his beautiful home, Chef Jordan greeted us with a friendly smile and took us over to his kitchen where he had all of the ingredients displayed. He asked us what type of music we liked and I love listening to "French Cafe" songs while I cook so he turned it on for a relaxing mood. We made three dishes: Tom Kha Gai Soup, Thai Coconut Yellow Chicken Curry and Fresh Spring Rolls with a yummy Thai Peanut Sauce! Using fresh ingredients and cooking from scratch was so fun to make and eating it was so much better. You could really taste how fresh the ingredients were. Everything was loaded with flavor and pretty healthy, too! Chef Jordan did a great job teaching us knife skills and walking us through each recipe. One of the best things about the class was that we were able to eat A LOT! We made so much food that we were able to get second (even 3rd) helpings as well as pack some for the road. We brought a yummy Sauvignon Blanc with citrus notes that he recommended would pair well with the meal and it tasted great! He also took us on a mini tour of his garden to pick out fresh herbs for our spring rolls. Chef Jordan was very organized, friendly and professional and made good conversation throughout. Since it was just me and my husband, it was a very nice and intimate experience. He gave us the recipes to take home along with some grapefruit and passion fruit from his yard! We really enjoyed our time learning how to make this yummy 3-course meal. The next time we decide to do this again, I’d love to invite a bigger group with us to enjoy this fun experience! Chef Marty was a very good teacher. She exceeded our expectation and I now know how to make pasta. I was given a pasta machine for my birthday but struggled with it. I think I will regift the machine (lol?) and use Chefs technique of hand made pasta. Chef Marty treated us like family and I would definitely take another class from her. Chef Marty and her assistant Anna exceeded our expectations! My husband and I hosted the pasta making class at our house with 8 of our friends. We weren't sure what to expect but chef Marty gave us all the info we needed to host this fun and entertaining night. Everyone enjoyed that it was educational, the right amount of "hands on" participation, as well as Chef Marty's sense of humor. All in all, it was great food, great wine and great company! We enjoyed having it at our house but you may consider having the event at Chef Marty's if you don't have a good kitchen setup for it. I would definitely take another class with Chef Marty in the future.

Chef Marty is such a warm, inviting person - like the Tucson Mama you never had! She welcomes you right into her kitchen as if you were one of her own. In between her stories of living in Italy and her various travels, and her exclamations/phrases/responses spoken beautifully in Italian, she gives you the best instruction on how to prepare authentic Italian dishes. She doesn't hold anything back, either; if she can talk you through another recipe similar to what you're making, you have but to ask and she'll tell all. In addition, she's not afraid to walk you into her organic garden, where she generously cut us some herbs to take home (rosemary, oregano, and sage). She shared her homegrown tangelos, her homemade Limoncello, and the secret to her infamous tiramisu, too! Hand-making pasta for the first time was an absolute adventure and so exciting to learn! It was DELICIOUS too! She had forgotten to pick up tomatoes the day before, so we couldn't prepare the Bruscetta that was on the menu... but, that was no big loss, as she was able to think on her feet and teach us a recipe for pesto instead. Even better, in my humble opinion! Add it to the menu, Chef Marty! :-) If you don't book her, it'll be your loss - she's a welcome dose of Italian hospitality, Tucson flavor, and Mama-like warmth. 100% worth it! We'll be back, Marty!
