Learn to roll sushi and make a refreshing Japanese-style salad from scratch.

Trade the sushi bar for your own kitchen skills in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Adriana. With friendly, step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to season sushi rice with mirin and a touch of sugar to get that perfect sticky texture. Then, you’ll slice fresh avocado and cucumber, layer them with crab and roll everything into a neat California roll using a traditional bamboo mat.

To balance your rolls, you’ll also prepare a cucumber and ginger salad tossed in a bright ponzu dressing. Along the way, you’ll pick up practical tips on knife skills, rolling techniques and flavor balance.
