tomato ketchup
1/2 cup(s)
barbecue sauce
1/3 cup(s)
brown sugar

chicken stock
1 tsp
liquid smoke

Step 1

In the bowl of an Instant Pot, add the dried beans and water.

Cook on manual high pressure for 25 minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally.

Drain the beans and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the bacon and cook until the fat is rendered.

Add the onions and sauté until translucent.

Stir in the reserved beans, ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, chicken stock and liquid smoke. Cook on manual high pressure for 15 minutes. Release the pressure naturally.
