pink cotton candy, see notes 1
gold leaf flakes, for decoration

Place the gold sugar and lime juice in two shallow bowls.

Fill the champagne flutes with champagne.

Place a fluffy cloud of cotton candy on top of the champagne rim. Garnish with gold leaf flakes. When ready to sip, push the cotton candy into the champagne. The cotton candy will dissolve with a few gold leaf flakes floating for a pretty presentation. Enjoy!

Notes:

  1. Store bought cotton candy tends to be compact. If buying cotton candy, make sure to fluff it up before placing it onto the champagne flute.
