minced pork

shrimp, peeled and minced

shiitake mushrooms, minced

grated ginger

oyster sauce

sesame oil

For the Soup

chicken stock

stalks green onions
1/4 cup(s)
soy sauce

small pack sibut (Chinese four herb)

bok choy, chopped
For Serving
500 g
fresh egg noodles, cooked

Directions 8 steps | 55 Minutes

Step 1

Combine pork, shrimp, shiitake, ginger, spring onions, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper and cornstarch in a bowl. Mix well.

Step 2

Take a piece of wonton wrapper and fill with about a teaspoon of the prepared filling in the center.

Step 3

Wet edges with water and fold up to seal in a triangle shape.

Step 4

Wet the bottom two points and fold in, as shown.

Step 5

Repeat these steps for all wontons.

Step 6

Bring the chicken stock, soy sauce, green onions and sibut to a simmer in a large pot. Bring a separate pot of water to a boil and cook your egg noodles to al dente.

Step 7

Add wontons and simmer for 7-10 minutes, or until cooked. Add in the bok choy during the last 5 minutes.

Step 8

Arrange noodles in serving bowls. Top with wontons and ladle in hot soup. Garnish with chopped spring onions. Enjoy!

Totally worth the time to make the wontons fresh in this recipe.....far better than the takeout version.
