Directions 8 steps | 27 Minutes

Step 1

Measure and prep all ingredients.

Step 8591 Shot
Step 2

Prepare the meatballs. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, paprika, granulated garlic, onion powder, dried parsley, dried oregano, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, eggs and milk. Lightly mix the ingredients until evenly combined.

Step 8592 Shot
Step 3

Form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs.

Step 8593 Shot
Step 4

Turn the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the oil to the pot and once the pot is hot, sear the meatballs in batches.

Step 8594 Shot
Step 5

Remove all of the meatballs and deglaze the pot with the broth. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to scrape the browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Step 8595 Shot
Step 6

Turn off the sauté setting. Add half of the marinara sauce. Place the browned meatballs into the Instant Pot.

Step 8597 Shot
Step 7

Top with the remaining marinara sauce and close the lid. Make sure the lid is set to sealing. Set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure and set the timer for 7 minutes. When the timer goes off, let the pressure naturally release for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, quick-release the pressure. Be careful not to stand over the Instant Pot while the pressure is being released as the steam is very hot.

Step 8598 Shot
Step 8

Serve the meatballs and the sauce over pasta. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and finely chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!

Step 8599 Shot

Notes:

  1. You can use store-bought or homemade marinara sauce. For homemade marinara, try our Italian marinara sauce or spicy marinara sauce recipe.
