Drawing inspiration from her grandmother’s ownership of a ramen shop in Japan, Chef Kaori has been trained in traditional Japanese soup and noodles. Thanks to apprenticeships in Italy, France and Thailand, Chef Kaori’s cuisine ranges from Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai and Indian. Her passion is teaching students of all ages the importance of connecting to one's heritage and bringing people together through a love of food.

Chef Karoi was a wonderful teacher at tonight's ramen class! We learned all about how to make the noodles and the process she went through to create the broth. Between the ramen and gyoza, we were stuffed by the end. We will definitely be taking what we learned and recreating the process at home in the future. So if you are interested in what it takes to make flavorful broth and delicious noodles, definitely check out this class. You won't be disappointed.
