Chef Bobby is the real deal. We booked his duck class for a night in, and it turned out to be such a good time. The food was amazing. Arugula salad with dried plums to start, then orecchiette with smoked duck confit, seared duck breast with a sherry-rhubarb demi-glace, and a zabaglione with fresh berries for dessert. Every course was excellent. We’re real foodies, the kind who seek out chef tasting menus and Michelin spots whenever we can, but we’re not cooks ourselves, so getting to watch it all come together at home and actually learn something was a treat. That’s the thing about Bobby, he kept it relaxed the whole time. Talked us through every step, answered all our questions, and made the technique feel approachable without dumbing any of it down. Great conversation, no pretense, just genuinely good company. He also put up with a lot. We had our toddler running around and two big dogs who don’t know how to be quiet, and none of it fazed him. He just rolled with it, which made the whole night feel easy and fun. Can’t recommend him enough. We’re already trying to figure out when we can book him again.

Amazing experience overall. Made ceviche, empanadas, arepas, and quinoa salad, and everything turned out great. The chef made the class fun, relaxed, and easy to follow, even for beginners. Favorite part was trying all the different South American flavors at the end. Definitely doing another class again soon.

First time doing a cooking class and as nervous as we were it was super comfortable working with Jordan. No matter your experience he had everyone involved at every step, and we learned a lot throughout the night. I can't cook rice to save my life but now I can make paella (no big deal). We will absolutely book another class not just with this site (bc the possibilities are endless) but would love to work with Jordan again.

Our hands-on pasta making session with Chef Jordan was both highly educational and incredibly enjoyable. I arranged the class as a birthday surprise for my partner (who is an inspiring chef), and the instruction was top-notch. Chef Jordan provided detailed guidance on every step of the process: from fundamental skills like properly cutting onions, to selecting the correct ingredients (flour, tomatoes), to advanced techniques for kneading dough and sautéing. Chef Li’s Chinese soup dumpling class was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! She welcomed us into her beautiful home with such warmth and made the experience both fun and approachable. She was an excellent teacher, guiding us step by step through making soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and hot and sour soup. I HIGHLY recommend Chef Benoit’s classes. I have taken both the fish and beef dinner classes. Both of the meals were beautifully curated and delicious. The recipes were easy to understand and follow, yet the results were elegant and very flavorful. Chef Benoit works with your specific skill level to teach you the techniques needed to prepare these dishes. I have since re-created both menus for guests and they were both hits! I learned new skills in the kitchen like chopping techniques, flavor pairings, and I even filleted my first fish! His home is beautiful and clean and both him and his wife are very warm and welcoming. Thank you, Chef Benoit, for sharing your knowledge and wonderful energy with us!

We had an amazing meal and experience with Chef Justin. Chef Justin was very communicative prior to the experience. Chef Justin arrive 15 minutes prior to start time in order to get set up. We helped prepare and ate seafood salad, a few rolls (proteins: salmon, shrimp, crab, beef) and mochi ice cream (green tea, strawberry and vanilla). We learned so much and the meal was beyond delicious. Overall it was the best time and the food was so great we would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Chef Justin!

One of the most fun things I’ve ever done! My BF and I have been ravin about it for days. Justin was super helpful, hilarious, and made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, and he went above and beyond—chatting with us about anything, taking tons of pictures (so sweet!), and letting us get creative with handrolls + other rolls after making the main menu items. This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Chef Shelley is not only a gifted chef but also a warm, engaging teacher. We did the class with my girlfriend, my son, and my 13-year-old daughter, and she made every step of the process fun, informative, and hands-on. She guided us through the prep, ingredients, and cooking techniques — but what really set this apart was how she explained the why behind each step. We learned what the “holy trinity” is in Cajun cooking, why a pinch of sugar enhances tomato-based dishes, and why a splash of lemon juice is key when working with apples. Together, we cooked a delicious Cajun meal: classic salmon over maque choux (a Creole succotash), and excellent chicken étouffée, and a perfectly spiced Southern-style apple crisp. Throughout, Chef Shelley shared amazing stories from her time cooking in New Orleans and New York City — plus insider commentary on restaurants (the best and ones to avoid), chefs, and food trends. It genuinely felt like she knows (and has cooked with) everyone in the food world — including being friends with members of The English Beat! Between dishes, she also treated us to samples of artisan hot sauces, barbecue sauces, spices, and even a caramel apple — all from brands she consults with or has helped develop. Her passion for the culinary arts and the specialty food world is infectious. Chef Shelley is a delightful host, a brilliant storyteller, and a deeply knowledgeable chef. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough — truly one of the best experiences we’ve had.
