We had a fantastic class on vegetarian cooking with Chef Mike. Not only was it a cooking class, it felt like a show at times :) Mike is intensely passionate about his work, entertaining, and we had a great time all around. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tips and tricks!

Fun and informative class. Very low key and friendly. With of course great food!

You can tell Chef Mike loves playing with his food. His classical culinary training combined with his time working for many top restaurants has made him a sort of mad genius-- concocting different methods and experimenting with flavors to give his food his own unique twist. His take on Pao de queijo blew my mind! It was crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and full of cheesy and smoky flavor! You will swear you're tasting bacon but it's completely vegetarian (and gluten-free)! Likewise, his Sous Vide Salmon with Brussel Sprouts was amazing! The fish was savory, soft and buttery without being mushy... magic! He also makes an incredible Basil cake that was moist and sweet that had a wonderful basil flavor without being overpowering. Spending time with Chef Mike, you can tell that he gives a lot of thought about his ingredients, his process and presentation. His platting is meticulous and beautiful! His flavors are surprising, distinct and undeniably delicious! Highly recommended!

Chef Mike's Cooking Classes are the perfect blend of fun, education, humor and wonderful tastes! I had never taken a cooking class and was immediately comfortable with the blend of Chef Mike's wit, intellectual approach and the camaraderie he creates with the class. And the menu tops it all!!! Great food and fun at the same time! Go see Chef Mike!

Really fun and yummy experience with Mike and friends discovering our cooking skills. Mike is an awesome chef who really shares his techniques and tips for cooking not only delicious dishes in new ways, but simple enough recipes for kitchen mortals such as me to feel like pros.

SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE-SUPER FRIENDLY! I immediately realized how many foods are out there that I've never tried, never heard of, nor had any idea how to prepare. Chef Mike kept the class at our level, so you could actually make the dishes at home. I especially liked his pointers on techniques and favorite product recommendations.

As a fan of cooking shows, I always wanted to try a cooking class for the longest time. Seeing an expert in their element in close proximity was a great! The level of excitement in my group made the experience. The cheers and support when someone was able to flip their brussel sprouts in the skillet was contagious. You can hear the passion for cooking from chef Mike in his explanations during the course and I enjoyed hearing his stories of his early days in the kitchen. His tips and tricks of the trade have improved my home cooking. I loved the menu he prepared. How he showed us that we can host a party with it. Prep much of the meal in advance so we can entertain friends and surprise them with flavorful dishes that look amazing as well! I will definitely make this to impress my friends and family!

Chef Mike is a genuine person. He is sweet and so knowledgeable about everything he taught. The basil cake blew my mind, and I had never heard, let alone made, a Milk Jam before taking this class with him. The recipes were easy to understand and the final result was delicious. I would recommend him to friends ( a perfect interactive Christmas gift for friends and family to do together), and I am looking forward to taking another class with him in the future.

This was a fun class and I learned a lot. Chef Mike was so enthusiastic about the process, and had a variety of dishes for us to make. I never would have thought to try sous-vide, but the salmon came out perfect! At the end of class, Chef Mike pulled out some experimental dessert concoctions he was working on. It was fun to see that he really knows his stuff!

The class was a blast. I learned very simple and important techniques to aid my cooking at home. In the class we made delicious treats and tasty meals. Everyone was involved and we all had a great time. I would definitely do this again.

Chef Mike is super sweet and entertaining. We learnt a lot of easy new tricks to elevate our cooking and after the class we could not wait to start using them all. The food was amazing, nothing to crazy but it looked and tasted high end. I for sure will be taking his class again.
