The resident chef split the time wonderfully between explaining the flavor pairings, noting preparation timing tips and showing / teaching us proper techniques in the kitchen. I cannot say enough how appreciative and satisfied my wife and I were with Chef Lamour’s delectable menu and warm hospitality. Aside, from the joys of learning new knife skills, food nutrition, and how to make a simple but tasty vinaigrette and chocolate filled spanakopita, we also discussed life and philosophies. It was truly a unique and fun experience. Even more, Chef Lamour made everything from scratch and was able to provide a menu that met my wife’s nutritional needs for her diabetes. We are so grateful to have had her as our first experience and introduction to CozyMeal! She was truly fabulous!

My partner and I had her Mediterranean class and Chef Lamour could not have been any more amazing! From her warm and fun personality to her culinary expertise; it was a great experience. She was super communicative and detailed from the minute I booked the class till the night of the class. Chef Lamour makes the entire experience fun, insightful, and delicious . . . we actually forgot we were in a class and felt like we were getting taught to cook by a friend. We definitely recommend her and you definitely need to stop whatever you're searching and just book her!

I took my fiancee for her birthday and we had a really fun and memorable time with Chef Michael for his Greek cooking class. He's got loads of worldly cooking experience and really knows his stuff! We learned a nice variety of cooking techniques, from simple veggie prep to grilling fish and even baking filo dough. As a couple that cooks semi regularly at home, we felt like this was a perfect skill level for the class. He's really thoughtful and you can tell he absolutely loves doing this, which shows in his enthusiasm. He was happy to answer any amount of questions and our whole group had a really great experience. Would absolutely do more classes with Chef Michael/Cozymeal in the future!

This experience was very much worth it. It was truly hands on and engaging. Everyone got their aprons on and hands in the mix, literally! I went with my partner, and we had a class with 2 other couples, and 2 solo individuals, making the class size 8, which is perfect--I wouldn't recommend any more than that. Chef Ivan was very patient with each of us, he gave an excellent overview of what we'd be doing for the session, and explained cooking terms and tips expertly. The dining experience was also nice and cozy. We ran a bit out of time at the end, only because our group was so chatty! The only thing I wished for was to see how the salmon was prepared at the end, although he had walked us through the process already. Great experience, and I highly recommend to anyone, whether for a couple's bonding, friend's gathering, or team building. Excellent experience, and excellent food. The best part is, we could sit down eating at the table and proudly say that we created that!

Quaint, well-explained, hands-on class (Italian Cuisine). While I expected the cooking class to be very “commercial and or school-like” because of what I watch on tv, this was the opposite. The class of 6, at his studio, made it feel like you were cooking at home amongst friends. Everything was well explained and variations were discussed so that we could personalize the entrees if we wanted to. Chef Ivan was great and would recommend to others most definitely.

We cooked a vegan and GF Mediterranean meal, with falafel and tzatziki, roasted vegetables with quinoa and Lemon Olive Oil cake. It was SUCH a great and fun class. I personally learned better knife skills, lots of cooking tips and tricks to make cooking easier and faster, and had a wonderful meal that I look forward to and feel confident of creating on my own. My daughter and I attended the class together and there was a young couple in the class too and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Chef Jamie's teaching space/home was lovely - perfect for our class and she made the entire experience interesting, resourceful, TONS of fun and inspiring! I look forward to taking another class! My only regret was I forgot to take pictures!!

From the moment we walked in, Chef Jamie made us feel completely at ease—her warm presence was so comforting, especially since we’re a little on the shy and introverted side. She created such a welcoming atmosphere that the two hours flew by, and we left not only having made delicious vegetarian Middle Eastern food but also feeling so much more confident in the kitchen. Jamie is incredibly knowledgeable, and her goal is truly to empower her students—she gave us invaluable advice, from how to properly hold a knife to small tricks that make cooking smarter and less intimidating. I’m already seeing the aftereffects; today, as I made sheet pan vegetables, I found myself thinking back to her class. I highly recommend this experience—it felt so personal, and I walked away with skills I’ll carry with me every time I cook!

Had a great experience at Jamie's Mediterranean class. She was heavy on educating us on what we were using, why, and always had an alternative we could explore. Healthy amount of challenge to try flavors we were previously adverse to. And she's extremely entertaining! The lemon olive oil cake was the star of the show.

Chef Liz knows how to bake rustic breads but a 2-hour class was too much too fast: TWO prepared dough to make TWO different recipe breads. *For $99 we EACH should get dough loaf that others didn't handle barehand) *Students didn't get 9page recipe before class - CozyMeal emailed it asap I asked *Liz didn't say ANY units of ANY ingredients (eg "add the TEASPOON of salt" vs "add the provided salt) *Helpers behind Liz were distracting. *Premises pleasant, clean, good transit.
