In total, the Starbucks holiday menu has six festive drinks, plus cold foams and sweet food options, including adorable festively-decorated baked goods.

When Does Starbucks' Holiday Menu Start?

The arrival of the Starbucks holiday menu is a much-awaited event for many fans of the coffee chain and a signal that the festive season has really begun. But when do Starbucks holiday drinks come out this year?

The new Starbucks holiday menu will be officially released on November 6, 2025, as confirmed by the brand on October 6, 2025. This date continues the trend from last year, with the Starbucks holiday menu launch being about a week later than in previous years, which gives you more time to order from the Starbucks fall drinks menu.

When Does Starbucks’ Holiday Menu End?

All good things come to an end, including the Starbucks holiday menu. There’s no official word from Starbucks yet about when the seasonal menu will disappear, but holiday beverages tend to be removed from the menu in the second week of January to make way for the Starbucks winter menu.

Starbucks Holiday Drinks 2025

The Starbucks holiday drink menu has steered towards giving people their regular favorites rather than adding a lot of new beverages this year. That means you can expect to see lots of favorites from last year returning.

However, a few beverages from last year’s Starbucks holiday menu won’t be returning, namely the Cran-Merry line. These included the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher, Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher and Cran-Merry Drink. 

While you may be able to recreate these Starbucks holiday menu drinks via a custom order, this will vary depending on what ingredients are available in store, and the drinks likely won’t have real cranberries like last year. 

So, now we know what isn’t returning, which beverages can you order from the Starbucks holiday menu in 2025? Here's the full festive list:

Caramel Brûlée Latte 

A regular favorite of the Starbucks holiday season, the caramel brûlée latte features caramel sauce mixed with espresso and hot milk. You can have an iced version too if you’d rather. 

While you can double-check this in store, the caramel brûlée sauce generally contains dairy. Therefore, this isn’t the best choice for those looking for dairy-free options at Starbucks, even if made with a plant-based milk. 

Iced Sugar Cookie Latte

Returning for another holiday season, this latte combines iced sugar cookie syrup with a shot of espresso and regular or plant-based milk. This holiday drink at Starbucks is then finished with red and green sprinkles. 

It’s usually served iced, but can be enjoyed hot too. While this may not be the healthiest Starbucks drink around, it is the holidays after all — so go ahead and treat yourself! 

Iced Gingerbread Chai

Introduced in 2023, this beverage became a hit among regulars, with many rating it as the best Starbucks tea they’ve tried. This cozy Starbucks holiday drink is a perfect transitional beverage to move from fall into winter, thanks to its mix of warming spices used in the gingerbread syrup. 

Always confirm in-store, but this sweet Starbucks drink should be suitable for vegans and others avoiding dairy (when made with a plant-based milk base), as the syrup does not contain dairy. 

Peppermint Mocha 

Fans of mint flavors will be happy to hear that the peppermint mocha is back for another year on the Starbucks holiday drinks menu. This classic beverage is making a comeback in 2025 for its 23rd year, having first been launched on the Starbucks holiday menu in 2002. You can enjoy this iconic Starbucks Christmas drink hot, iced or blended.

Chestnut Praline Latte

Another favorite returning for 2025 is the chestnut praline latte. This warming option embodies the holidays and features notes of chestnut combined with sweet praline. It’s all topped with whipped cream and praline crumbles. 

As with other Starbucks holiday menu drinks, it can be ordered hot or iced. You can also ask for it to be blended to make one of the best Starbucks Frappuccinos.

Just note that this Starbucks holiday drink will be available a little later during the festive period than the above beverages. It usually appears on the Starbucks holiday menu around the start of December instead of the beginning of November. 

Eggnog Latte

Fans were not happy to see this classic beverage missing from the Starbucks holiday menu last year. Luckily, it returns for 2025, featuring the popular and warming flavors of eggnog paired with your favorite milk base. 

As with the chestnut praline latte, the eggnog latte will be available a little later on during the Starbucks holiday menu’s run, generally available from the start of December.

Does Starbucks Have Eggnog Lattes This Year?

The Starbucks eggnog latte has been one of the most popular drinks on the holiday menu for years. While it was absent last year, it returns to the Starbucks holiday menu for 2025, much to the delight of fans.

Is Starbucks Chestnut Praline Back for 2025?

Yes. This beloved addition to the Starbucks holiday menu is scheduled to make a return this year. Combining whipped cream, espresso and the signature blend of spices and caramelized chestnut flavor, this is a true customer favorite. It’s going to be available hot, iced or blended.

Starbucks Holiday Menu Cold Foams

Last year, festive cold foams were introduced, and it seems like they are returning to the Starbucks holiday menu in 2025 in the following flavors:

These flavors are similar to previous offerings; however, Gingerbread Cold Foam has not yet been confirmed as returning to the Starbucks holiday menu.

Polar Bear Cake Pop

Cake pops frequently make an appearance on the holiday menu, adding a festive design and flavor to the regular menu pops. This year, you can enjoy a polar bear cake pop.

Is the Starbucks Snowman Cookie Returning?

Yes, this frosty favorite will be back on the Starbucks holiday menu for the 2025 season, having been missing from the line-up last year. It replaces the penguin cookie from last year and will be paired alongside a charming polar bear cake pop and three other Starbucks holiday menu baked goods.

What’s Missing From the Starbucks Holiday Menu?

As mentioned, the penguin cookie is not available this year, being replaced by the beloved snowman cookie. The cake pop from last year, which had a snowman design, has also been switched out for a polar bear version. 

The turkey and sage Danish and dark toffee Bundt cake are also omitted from the Starbucks holiday menu this year, with cinnamon pull-apart bread being added as a new item instead. 

When looking at the Starbucks holiday drinks menu, many fans are pleased to hear that the eggnog latte is making a return. However, the line of three Cran-Merry beverages from 2024 will not be returning. 

Like last year, toasted white chocolate mochas and gingerbread hot chocolates are also notable omissions from the red cup squad, with this being the third year that fans will be disappointed to see the toasted white chocolate mocha missing from the menu.

For a toasted white chocolate mocha, order a white chocolate mocha and add a shot or two of hazelnut or chestnut praline and a shot or two of vanilla (toasted vanilla if available) syrup.

Starbucks isn’t only launching a festive food and drink menu this year. A cool collection of festive mugs and reusable coffee cups will be released in line with the Starbucks holiday food and drink menu.

The four blends mentioned above aren’t the only products that can help you make Starbucks holiday menu drinks at home. The chain is also launching flavored coffees and creamers that will be available for purchase via most grocery chains.

Yes, Starbucks Red Cup Day is back for 2025. This annual promotion gives customers a reusable red cup for free with the purchase of a holiday beverage. The date for Starbucks Red Cup Day 2025 has not been announced yet, but the promotion usually occurs in mid-November. 

Whatever day the promotion occurs, you’ll want to arrive early. As Placer Labs reports, Starbucks Red Cup Day was one of the chain's busiest times last year, attracting more customers than in the entire week that the fall menu and the iconic PSL launched.

Each year, the Starbucks holiday menu becomes a hot topic, with lots of speculation about which drinks and treats have made the cut.
