25 Best Arizona Iced Tea Flavors Ranked in 2025

Published on July 22, 2025 | 0 Comments
There are many delicious Arizona iced tea flavors to try

When it comes to Arizona iced tea flavors, opinions run hot and deep. Some believe the classics are the best Arizona flavors, eschewing all that newfangled stuff in favor of the much-loved Green Tea or Peach. Others would rather take a more holistic approach, looking at all Arizona flavors and thumbing their noses at the idea that the company’s newer inventions aren’t worth a try.

And it sort of makes sense when you think about it: Arizona iced tea flavors are not exactly subtle. According to Business Insider, they’re among the most sugar-packed drinks on the market, meaning none of them can be accused of slacking on flavor, although they could be accused of being unhealthy.

Yet, those who enjoy these sugary beverages don’t find all flavors equal, with the title of best Arizona iced tea flavor being hotly debated. We’re here to weigh in on that debate, albeit from afar.

Objectivity will be attempted, but we can hardly promise to be a voice of reason. Any list of Arizona flavors ranked from most to least thirst-quenching is going to be contentious.

Nevertheless, we’ll attempt to answer a question you may never have even asked: if you take all of the Arizona flavors and rank them, how do they stack up? If you ask us, it looks a little something like this.

25 Best Flavors of Arizona Iced Tea Ranked

25. Cherry Lime Rickey

Who’s Rickey? We have absolutely no idea, but he’s not exactly winning the Arizona iced tea flavor race. He’s full of flavor: a carbonated cherry-lime concoction with even less restraint than the typical Arizona iced tea flavor. Maybe there’s some universe in which this turned out well, but it isn’t the one we live in.

It’s got a little too much going on and has a lack of coherence that it can’t afford as a flavor on such a competitive list. Unfortunately, Cherry Lime Rickey gets the (dis)honor of last place on this list of Arizona iced tea flavors, ranked.

24. Diet Peach

Arizona doesn’t exactly make healthy drinks, but it tries. With only 10 calories a pop, that’s what Diet Peach is supposed to accomplish. But unfortunately, it fails to live up to the brilliance of the non-diet drink.

Peach is one of the all-time classic Arizona iced tea flavors, so Diet Peach had a lot to live up to, and it doesn’t make it.

The taste of the artificial sweeteners that make Diet Peach lower in calories and sugar is overwhelming, and it doesn’t make for the most pleasant sip. If you’re drinking an Arizona, you might as well go ahead and full-send it.

23. Arizona Sweet Tea

We almost have to congratulate Arizona for this one, because it’s pretty hard to make a sweet tea that’s too sweet. The syrupy sweetness is what many love about the drink, and many a devoted Southerner would come for your head if you didn’t get that sugar ratio right.

When that happens, it’s usually in the “not sweet enough” direction. This Arizona flavor achieves something incredible by using entirely too much sweetener. Plain, classic sweet tea should be the easiest flavor in the world for a sweet tea company to get right, but Arizona biffs it.

Restraint is not the calling card of this company, nor is it usually a hallmark of a good sweet tea, but a whole lot more of it was needed here. Tweaking the recipe just a little bit could have made this a classic Arizona iced tea flavor, but alas.

22. Orangeade

Orangeade isn’t bad, per se. It’s just really underwhelming, and that’s kind of the worst thing an Arizona iced tea flavor can be. It doesn’t have the punch of orange soda or real orange juice, and it ends up tasting like a halfhearted effort to make a drink like Sunny D for adults. You probably won’t want to spit it out, but it’s not a highlight of the Arizona iced tea flavors catalogue, either.

21. Arnold Palmer Strawberry

Arizona loves an Arnold Palmer: there are no less than three such Arizona iced tea flavors ranked on this list. This one is by far the least successful. If you’ve never tried it, an Arnold Palmer is a half-lemonade, half-iced tea blend; it’s iconic, and it doesn’t really need anything added.

That’s why Arnold Palmer Strawberry flops. The intense, chemical strawberry taste doesn’t do anything to improve an already stellar flavor. It’s one of the many Arizona iced tea flavors that just doesn’t seem totally necessary.

20. Half and Half Tropical

The Half and Half line of Arizona iced tea flavors is somewhat Arnold Palmer-esque, combining tea and juice flavors. Some of them are stellar. Others, like Half and Half Tropical, err by overpowering the tea base with in-your-face fruit flavors.

It’s hard to taste the many individual fruit flavors that “Tropical” refers to, except banana, which comes on way too strong. So if you’re looking for a nice tea with fruity notes, you might end up in the weeds: this Arizona iced tea flavor is more of a generic fruit juice with a background note of tea.

19. Diet Arnold Palmer

This is one of the less offensive diet Arizona iced tea flavors, but it still falls flat. But this time, it’s not the addition of unnecessary flavors that makes it so disappointing: it’s the sweetener.

Diet Arizona iced tea flavors usually use sucralose, an artificial sweetener with a serious chemical aftertaste, and this is no exception. Rather than sweetening the diet lemonade, the sucralose in Diet Arnold Palmer really just coats the tongue with an unpleasant artificial residue. We’ll pass, even if it is lower in calories.

18. Grapeade

Woof. Grapeade is not for the faint of heart, or anyone who has ever even briefly worried about their sugar intake. If you enjoy grape soda, you’re probably used to that flavor, so the sweetness of this Arizona iced tea flavor won’t bug you too much.

But if that’s never been your thing, Grapeade won’t be, either: get ready for the sickly-sweetness of corn syrup. This is one for people who already know that they have a high tolerance for artificial grape flavor…and no one else.

17. Lemonade

This is the first Arizona iced tea flavor on our list that’s really just…there. It’s not a terrible take on lemonade, and you probably won’t finish the can wishing you had chosen something else. But it also lacks any real punch, and you could probably get a similar lemonade from a powdered mix. Good — just not special.

16. Fruit Punch

Arizona doesn’t excel at making fruit flavors that taste like the real thing, so the generically fruity flavors tend to be their best. This Arizona iced tea flavor is solidly middle-of-the-pack, with a classic fruit punch flavor that meets but does not exceed expectations. We tend to prefer the Arizona iced tea flavors that actually use tea, but this one isn’t bad if you must have a can of juice.

15. Mucho Mango

Mango is a reliable flavor. Its flavor is distinctive enough that no mango-flavored treat will likely be mistaken for another fruit, and its natural mildness makes it pretty broadly appealing. So, is this Arizona iced tea flavor perfect? No, it’s still not as fresh-tasting as it could be.

But it’s starting from a good place, and it largely lives up to its promise. While every juice-based Arizona iced tea flavor is likely to be too sweet for somebody, this one offers a milder middle ground than some of its fellows. You could definitely do worse when it comes to Arizona’s juice cocktail flavors.

14. Diet Green Tea

The highest-ranked diet Arizona iced tea flavor on this list is much less offensive than its peers. Instead of an overwhelming sucralose aftertaste, Diet Green Tea offers a milder version of the classic Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey – but that’s also why it doesn’t rank a little higher.

It’s a decent sugar-free alternative to the original, but Diet Green Tea fails to replicate the splashy flavor that makes its full-sugar counterpart so beloved. That said, it’s in no way actively unpalatable, so it’s one of the better Arizona iced tea flavors if you must choose a diet option.

13. Kiwi-Strawberry

There’s no denying that this nostalgic Arizona iced tea flavor is packed with sugar. That’s pretty much all there is to Kiwi-Strawberry, but it always has been. Have you ever had a strawberry-kiwi drink that didn’t mount a full-frontal assault on your blood sugar? It really can’t be done, and the sweetness is part of the charm here.

There are still going to be some who decry this Arizona iced tea flavor’s lack of subtlety, of course. But it makes for a fun throwback to childhood pool parties and sports practices for those who can stomach the sweetness.

12. Rooibos Red Tea

Most Arizona iced tea flavors use green or black tea. This one uses rooibos, or “red tea,” an herbal African variety that’s become increasingly popular as a caffeine-free alternative to other types of tea. Arizona’s take on rooibos isn’t flavored with anything else: you’ll only taste rooibos tea and cane sugar here.

No one is calling this a health tonic, but it’s nice to see an Arizona iced tea flavor sweetened with real sugar instead of corn syrup. It’s also nice to see the tea take center stage.

Rooibos has a smoky, spicy, herbal flavor that marks a significant departure from the usual Arizona teas, and if you enjoy tea in all its forms, this might be your favorite Arizona iced tea flavor.

11. RX Energy Tonic

Usually, you don’t reach for a can of Arizona when you need a caffeine hit. Sure, most Arizona iced tea flavors have some, but not enough to make it a viable alternative to coffee or undiluted tea.

Enter RX Energy Tonic, a tea-based energy drink that aims to compete with the conventional energy drink market. The flavor isn’t entirely clear, but it’s not bad, and the caffeine content is roughly equivalent to what you’d get in the same amount of coffee.

The biggest drawback here? The high amount of sugar, which comes in at around 26 grams per bottle. RX Energy Tonic is an enjoyable Arizona iced tea flavor, but a healthy energy drink it is not.

10. Raspberry

Arizona iced tea flavors tend to err when they center fruit flavors instead of tea, and that’s why Raspberry succeeds. Rather than coming on strong with artificial raspberry flavor, it opts to make black tea its most noticeable flavor.

Raspberry plays a bit part here, and it works refreshingly well. If the syrupy fruit juice that’s central in many Arizona iced tea flavors is what keeps you from trying them, you might want to check out Raspberry.

9. Green Tea Cucumber With Citrus

If you’ve ever been tempted to sneak into the lobby of a fancy hotel for a sip of that cucumber-and-lime water that they always leave out for guests, boy, do we have an Arizona iced tea flavor for you.

Green Tea Cucumber With Citrus isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t quite nail the balance between cucumber and citrus flavors, but it’s so unique and refreshing that we have to give it the nod of a top 10 spot.

There’s definite room for this Arizona iced tea flavor to improve. There’s a lot going on, and to some, it tastes a bit busy. That said, if you’re looking for a flavor that centers anything other than a super-sweet fruit juice cocktail, Green Tea Cucumber With Citrus might be your best bet.

8. Half and Half  Raspberry

We guess raspberry-based Arizona iced tea flavors just work, because this Arnold Palmer-esque flavor is miles better than the very similar Strawberry Arnold Palmer.

Raspberry, as used in Arizona drinks, tends to be relatively mild, so it makes a much less overpowering addition to a tea and lemonade blend than the more stringently artificial strawberry.

If you were hoping that some tart berry flavor would lift the blah flavor profile of most lemonade-based Arizona iced tea flavors, this is the drink that’ll prove you right. Like pretty much everything in the top 10, you can’t go wrong.

7. Black and White

Black and White is essentially Arizona’s classic green tea with a different base. But that base really does make all the difference: the delicacy of black and white teas gives this one a nuance and complexity that you would never expect in an Arizona iced tea flavor.

Add the classic honey and ginseng, and you have a winning flavor. It’s the brand’s attempt at a sophisticated, grown-up canned tea, and you’d be surprised how well that went.

6. Iced Tea With Cranberry Juice

If you like the tea-forward approach of the Raspberry Arizona iced tea flavor, you may also want to try this one. They’re by no means identical: cranberry is a much tangier flavor than raspberry, so the flavor profile is markedly different.

But the core idea of a strong black tea enhanced with tart berry notes remains the same, and for many, it’s the ideal Arizona iced tea flavor profile. An acquired taste, but one that won’t let you down.

The only drawback is that this flavor can be a little challenging to find these days. However, if you can get your hands on it, it's worth the purchase!

5. Arnold Palmer

A towering classic, and one we could never in good conscience leave out of the top five. Where Arizona Lemonade fails on its own, it soars when paired with punchy black tea.

Even those who hate sweetened teas might find something to enjoy in this Arizona iced tea flavor, bridging the gap between tea and sweetened soft drinks seamlessly. It may not be mentioned much among people’s all-time favorites, but pretty much no one hates it, and that says quite a lot.

4. Iced Tea With Lemon

Iced Tea With Lemon might actually be a better take on a traditional sweet tea than the Sweet Tea flavor. One of the original two Arizona iced tea flavors (the other was Raspberry), Iced Tea With Lemon has persisted and even thrived.

It’s bright, sweet, and balanced, sticking to well-tread flavor paths to remarkable effect. There’s a lot to love here and little to object to, and that stability is what’s made Iced Tea With Lemon a persistent favorite among Arizona iced tea flavors for decades.

3. Blueberry White Tea

White tea is a rarity among Arizona iced tea flavors, but when it is used, it’s almost always a great change of pace. Here, it’s paired with mildly sweet blueberry, and the result is another Arizona iced tea flavor that departs starkly from the bold, splashy, sugar-packed drinks we’ve come to expect.

It achieves a balance and subtlety that few other Arizona iced tea flavors do, so if you’re looking for a gentle first foray into the brand’s oeuvre, make it this one.

2. Peach

Peaches are such a mild fruit that it’s hard to go completely wrong with anything peach-flavored. In the case of this Arizona iced tea flavor, it represents one of the brand’s most successful exercises in restraint.

It’s fun and fruity but not overwhelmingly so, and the sweetness doesn’t overwhelm the way it so often does. You may actually find yourself wishing that the flavor were just a little bit more intense. That’s not exactly a common experience in the world of Arizona iced tea flavors!

Even so, what’s there is already great, and Peach is a fan favorite for good reason.

1. Green Tea With Ginseng and Honey

The original is almost always the best, and Arizona iced tea flavors are no exception to this rule. It made the brand a nationwide juggernaut, and it’s easy to see why. A strong green tea base and a lighter serving of sweetener than you’ll find in many other Arizona iced tea flavors make for a genuinely refreshing drink.

A drink can’t be refreshing if it’s so sugary that it makes you thirsty all over again, and that’s where the OG Arizona wins big. You’ll actually feel refreshed — what a concept!

How Many Arizona Iced Tea Flavors Are There?

If you only count tea-based products, there are 26 flavors of Arizona iced tea. This includes both traditional tea flavors and tea-based energy drinks, which are classified separately but are all broadly classifiable as flavors of Arizona iced tea.

But in the interest of reflecting what the brand really offers, we’ve included quite a few Arizona iced tea flavors here that aren’t technically teas. If you count up every single drink the brand currently sells, then you wind up with a total of about 68 unique products, though some are variety packs, snacks or other items that don’t exactly constitute individual flavors.

That isn’t a static number, though: the list of Arizona flavors is always changing, and you may see your favorite flavor swapped out with a new flavor or seasonal specialty if it’s not one of the more established Arizona iced tea flavors. Fans of the brand should keep their eyes on the changing Arizona flavors list year-round for new additions.
