In this hands-on class with Chef Kristin, you will learn the secrets to making fresh, homemade pasta dough, sauce, and how to turn it all into a knockout spinach and mushroom lasagna that will satisfy and impress both vegetarians and omnivores alike.
After beginning with a hearty Italian salad, Chef Kristin will teach you step by step how to handcraft swoon-worthy, fresh lasagna built with a strong layering ethic and high-quality ingredients, and silky smooth ribbon pasta. You will end on a sweet note with a fun take on cannoli.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My 16-year-old son and I had a great time cooking with Chef Kristin. Neither of us had made fresh pasta, and it was so fun to learn this together. Chef was very organized, had thought through how to make the most of our learning experience, made sauces ahead of time so we could focus on pasta making, portioned out for both salad and dessert, so while we put it all together, we didn't have to manage every step. My son learned knife skills tonight, and had a great time cooking a full meal. Chef's home is well equipped for the experience, and we found it very nice to be "homey" instead of in a different venue. Highly recommend this class!!

Kristin is great - very knowledgeable and a great person. She'll make you feel right at home. She offers a ton of useful pointers and has a fully loaded kitchen - I'd highly recommend. I'm still using her egg cracking tip with my day to day breakfast routine - Thanks Kristin!

Our family came to make Mediterranean dishes for our Father's Day activity. We had a blast! We made a full dinner, including salad, entree and dessert. She gave lots of cooking tips and everyone participated. We not only learned the recipes, but other chef's tips, such as chopping and mixing techniques. It was enlightening for both the experienced cooks and the novices. And our dinner was delicious! Highly recommend.
Meet your chef
Just before graduating from culinary school, personal chef and food educator Chef Kristin launched her own personal chef business in Chicago. Since then, Chef Kristin has found success catering private events, including many for Major League Baseball teams, staging at some of Chicago’s most renowned restaurants, and teaching an array of engaging and empowering cooking classes featuring a variety of different cuisines.
