We really enjoyed the Spanish tapas cooking class with Chef Hassan. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun cooking class in San Jose!

Chef Hassan made our first cooking experience exciting and incredibly fun. He managed 5 strong personalities effortlessly. His jokes and willingness to engage each of us was appreciated and priceless.

I had my doubts about what to expect when I booked Hassan but he blew my expectations out of the water. Not only did he graciously agree to drive 1.5 hours for the class, but he was extremely flexible, friendly and hands-on. He did an incredible job of helping all six of us learn a bunch of different things about cooking everything from lamb to flan and we all agreed it was an excellent night. I'd recommend Hassan to anyone interested in a cooking class. The food is delicious, the class itself is really useful and Hassan was genuinely nice and friendly and a joy to be around. Thanks for everything.

Incredible instruction, Chef Hassan really knows how to walk you through some delicious menu items. This was a perfect evening, and I will definitely use the tips and tricks I learned along side a wonderful set of tapas recipes. Highly recommend!

Chef Hassan met our family and guided all eight of us through a fun, engaging Spanish Tapas class! We all learned something new, had a great time laughing and cooking together, and this was an outstanding memory we made. Great menu, Chef Hassan was knowledgeable, approachable, happy to teach us the hows/whys, and took this from an ordinary cooking class to a memorable one! We'll definitely be doing this again!

3.5 delightful hours of food and fun Let me start of by saying that this was an exceptionally fun experience. It was evident from the first moment that Chef Hassan is extremely passionate about his craft, food, hosting guests, and making the experience enjoyable. His deliberate thought into the dishes, knowledge of the culture and people where they were derived, and adamant insistency that we learn and replicate the dishes (in the future) made this a great time. In short, we were very satisfied with the Tapas Dinner. Keep in mind that this literally is a feast; we were stuffed. The 7 dishes were splendid, and Chef ensured that we were hands-on during all the food preparation. Between making each of the dishes, drinking the Pinot that we brought, and cheerfully conversing with Chef Hassan, we learned a lot about Moroccan/Spanish food, history, and culture over the 3+ hours. Five stars. Highly recommend. I plan to do this again, inviting more friends next time.

Chef Hassan was born in Morocco, is a former Google chef, and makes beautiful food. I learned a lot through his great skills as a teacher and his passion for food. I loved learning about Moroccan culture and the many different robust flavors and ingredients. The lamb dish we made was amazing! I can’t wait to take another class from him and learn to make more delicious moroccan fusion.
