I've traveled the world in the pursuit of culinary inspiration, and have ended up living on 17 beautiful acres north of Santa Cruz. After living in Fiji, the Bahamas, New Orleans, and on yachts around the world, and taking cooking classes in Thailand, Morocco, India, and Italy, I create locavore California fare with international flair. I look forward to welcoming you to my beautiful home in the mountains and sharing stories about my time foraging in Fiji, cooking at Burning Man, and more.

Chef Evan has the most gorgeous home with a breathtaking view. He has a beautiful garden where he grows a lot of his own produce including lime leaves, artichokes, and watermelon. I had the opportunity to harvest ingredients while gazing out into a mountainous forest. What an amazing experience.

Chef Evan's view alone is worth taking this class, and the incredible class on grilling and the meal make it a no-brainer. Chef Evan lives on the top of a mountain in a cool home built in the shape of three tents, with a wraparound porch giving a view onto the Santa Cruz Mountains. He gathers a ton of his ingredients from his own garden plot, and the rest of this food is locally sourced and absolutely amazing. Definitely a must try.
