In this seafood cooking class, Chef Evan will teach you a variety of preparations for the multitude of seafood options available around his home in Santa Cruz. The menu will be decided by the seasons and guests' preferences, but will include multiple high-end seafood dishes that he will teach you to prepare from scratch in his beautiful mountain home.

A majority of Chef Evan's dishes include vegetables and fruits that come from his home garden, a bountiful mountaintop plot that has everything from corn and kale to lemongrass and kaffir lime.

Chef Evan welcomes you to bring your own wine to the class, and will be happy to provide recommendations.

Chef Evan has the most gorgeous home with a breathtaking view. He has a beautiful garden where he grows a lot of his own produce including lime leaves, artichokes, and watermelon. I had the opportunity to harvest ingredients while gazing out into a mountainous forest. What an amazing experience.

Chef Evan's view alone is worth taking this class, and the incredible class on grilling and the meal make it a no-brainer. Chef Evan lives on the top of a mountain in a cool home built in the shape of three tents, with a wraparound porch giving a view onto the Santa Cruz Mountains. He gathers a ton of his ingredients from his own garden plot, and the rest of this food is locally sourced and absolutely amazing. Definitely a must try.
