We had a blast. Carly was great at explaining what we were doing and why and the best way to to do it. She easily adapted the menu to deal with dietary issues. Small class meant direct attention and a chance for everyone to do everything. Highly recommended!

My family was visiting over the holidays, so I thought Cozymeal would be a fun experience for us to share together and it exceeded expectations! None of us are skilled chefs, but Carly was incredibly patience, knowledgeable, and made sure that everyone was able to contribute. The meal itself was delicious and the information acquired left everyone feeling more confident in the kitchen and excited to cook more!

If you're in Berkeley (or in the area), you owe it to yourself to go and visit Chef Carly in her kitchen. Her marvelous food is easy to make AND tastes amazing! Her Cauliflower Rice Tabbouleh Salad is arguably better than the real thing! The cauliflower retains so much more flavor than the traditional couscous and gives the dish an amazing texture and complexity. Her Herbed Turkey Meatballs are tender, moist and packed with flavor! The seasoning of the yogurt and herbs in Chicken Kebabs permeates every bite. It's tender, juicy and delicious! Chef Carly is super friendly, welcoming and didactic. With her background as a Nutritionist, she loves to share her knowledge on some of the science that goes behind each dish, the process and it's flavors. As an added bonus, you know that each dish will also be healthy and good for you. Win-win!

Carly is a brilliant chef whose food is as good to eat as it is to have eaten. She marries flavor, texture, and health in every dish she creates, and I have learned so much from her both in terms of what I make and how I make it. I cannot recommend Carly enough!

I took a fermenting class from Carly and am now am enjoying all that I learned. Carly knows the science and the technique and teaches in an easy manner that makes class fun and entertaining.

I love the intimacy of her cooking class and Carly was a fantastic instructor. I am now able to integrate so many new recipes into my healthy diet and I’m feeling so much better because of it. I didn’t think I would be able to be gluten and dairy free and Carly helped me get there.
