After 15 years of working as a social worker and raising a family, she decided it was time to get serious about her passion for cooking and attended the Seattle Culinary Academy to begin her new career. Formerly a sous chef, Chef Karen now enjoys teaching cooking classes, and catering and hosting events at her family farm.
