In this hands-on class, Chef Karen will introduce you to Middle Eastern cuisine by pulling ingredients from the local bounty and adding flavors that make up the cuisine of the region.
You will begin with a trio of spreads. Then, you will learn how the citrusy flavors of sumac and preserved lemons, alongside the creaminess of yogurt, will round out the lamb, not to mention elevating vegetables to divine heights. You will also have the opportunity to try exotic spice blends common in many Middle Eastern countries.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
