In this hands-on class, Chef Karen will teach you the essential ingredients and basic techniques needed to prepare authentic Peruvian cuisine, which is as complex as the country’s most intricate and exquisite weavings.
Great geographic and cultural diversity has brought ingredients ranging from highland tubers to tropical fruits to a complex cuisine of Spanish, indigenous, African, and Asian influence. From marinated and grilled beef heart to an authentic Andean pumpkin and potato stew to a roasted milk dessert, Chef Karen's menu promises to be one explosion of flavor after another.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
