Booked the class A Romantic Italian Feast In Verona with Chef Danushka in Austin (Oak Hill)

This entire experience was amazing. We had high expectations and Chef Danushka exceeded them. The menu was incredible starting with the arugula salad with pine nuts and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. I’ve never made pasta from scratch and that experience was a ton of fun. We then made 2 different types of ravioli. The first was basil spinach with a bacon marinara and the second was ricotta and Parmesan cheese with a basil brown butter sauce. Finally, dessert was apple and pear rum cake. We left stuffed!! Danushka was a lot of fun to work with and keeps a very clean kitchen….not to mention a great playlist to cook and eat to. I can’t recommend this enough whether you live in Austin or you’re just visiting. We will 100% be back to try another menu . Thanks for the great all around experience!!

Italian dinner! Amazing! We had so much FUN learning from Erin! She is personable, a true expert in her craft and delivered an unforgettable experience! She tailored the recipe to our liking and I cannot get over the outcome! Delicious! (We chose the Italian experience, which we learned is her most popular option) Plus we had a good time in the kitchen to boot. We have made a new friend in Erin! We cannot recommend Erin enough! We look forward to taking another one of her classes. Thank you Erin!

Really enjoyed the experience of cooking with Megan and the group. Megan's cooking experience and knowledge as well as jovial and fun demeanor made the event both special and fun for a date night. I highly recommend this class even for beginners like me.

I gained a ton of confidence in my chicken breast cooking, and chef's fun energy powered us through! I actually feel like I could do what we did at home... and it wasn't too tough. Even the risotto seemed really straightforward... and those nutella brownies rocked. I'm excited to sign up for another class with chef Danushka again, soon!

I purchased this experience for mine and my partners 1 year anniversary. We did the pasta making class. The final product was delicious. Chef Danushka is a pro. She knows her stuff and she appreciates those that know how to follow direction. So, if you think you are going to go in there and just wing it, you got another thing coming lol. Chef has a dry humor that may take some a little time to adjust to. We didn't have a problem with it. We actually found it quite funny, but I can see how some may not adjust as well. Howerever, she is very sociable, interactive, and knowledgeable. Her home is beautiful and super clean. We do plan on taking another class some time soon. Thank you Chef for being a part of our celebration, and creating such a great experience. Also, I'll practice not calling you ma'am next time around.

My wife and I took Danushka's Italian cooking class where we made a salad from scratch, 2 types of handmade ravioli and a apple & pear rum cake for desert. Chef Danushka was a good teacher and had a fun personality. Her home was beautiful and we had a great time. The Parmesan and ricotta ravioli in brown butter sage sauce was a knockout! Highly recommend!

Who doesn’t love an Italian meal with a nice salad, fresh pasta, and a delicious dessert. The experience in Chef Danushka’s kitchen was delightful. I learned that all these years I have been holding my knife incorrectly. I learned that when I’m making a salad dressing, I need to emulsify the ingredients. But the best of all was having fun learning how to make fresh pasta. This is something that I always found intimidating, especially using a pasta maker. Well, the experience was fun! I can’t wait to get my own pasta maker and go to town making ravioli for us and my family. I highly recommend chef Danushka! Definitely planning to come back for additional experiences!

We had an amazing at-home Italian cooking class experience. Chef Erin brought everything needed and guided us through each dish with clear, step-by-step instructions. We started with a fresh Caprese salad, followed by perfectly seasoned crispy fried shrimp. The highlight was learning how to make handmade pasta from scratch—it was easier than expected and so satisfying. The pasta was beautifully complemented by a rich, flavorful tomato sauce. We ended with a classic tiramisu that was light, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The class was fun, hands-on, and left us with new skills we can use again. It was a perfect way to spend the evening and a great option for a special night in.

Chef Danushka is quirky, but in the best way. Once we all warmed up to one another we really enjoyed ourselves. Six people paid for our ravioli class, but only two couples showed up. It turned out that was fine though — a more personal experience. We learned a few things, had good food (including graciously accommodating me being vegetarian), and laughed a lot. 5/5, would do it again. Thank you, Chef!

This was me and my girlfriends first time with a private chef cooking class and this experience was amazing. Chef Zack was welcoming, funny, energetic and a great teacher. He broke down our theme, gave us history of simple ingredients we use everyday and was open to all questions we had.. and we had a lot! The atmosphere was awesome and coupled with the food and wine, WOW! The food was very very good - down to the salad and dessert! I don’t want to give away to much about the class but all and all I highly recommend this class and we will be coming back to see what else Chef Zack has to offer. Thank you!

What an amazing date night with my girlfriend.. Meghan welcomed us into her kitchen for our first cozymeal and it couldn’t have been better. She had us chopping garlic like I never had before, learned how to smoothly stir the risotto and sprinkled us with charming stories about her passion for cooking and European travels. All to serve up a delicious meal that we can now bring into our home.
