We cooked the Spanish meal which included Patatas Bravas, Seafood Paella and Churro with dark chocolate dip. The patatas were delicious and the dip took it to another level. The paella was very flavorful and the churros were light and fluffy. Chef Danushka was patient with our questions and we learned other things beyond what the Spanish feast called for. Me and my friend had a great and highly recommend it to anyone looking to have fun and learn pro way to cook.

I’m no longer intimidated by preparing a Beef Wellington thanks to Chef Karen! Chef walked us through each step of preparation and voila! The best Beef Wellington accompanied by green beans and mashed potatoes! I’ll be making this menu for my family soon!

Fantastic class - I learned a ton about working with laminated doughs. I've tried a couple times in the past, and always had a sticky, tacky mess on my hands. This class taught me tricks and tips, how to work the dough more effectively, what to watch out for. I just pulled a batch of croissants out of the oven, and they are everything I could have ever hoped for, and more. I need to keep a laminated dough on hand at all times now! :D Loved the class, great teacher, very helpful and informative - can't wait to take more classes!

My first time using CozyMeal and also attending a cooking class, I can't think of a better starting experience! - Chef Susie has an incredible set up & everything was laid out when I arrived. I'm a newer cook but Chef Susie was super patient with me while I took notes & learned the ropes. I attended the pad thai class & it was great (the mando sticky rice being my personal fav) - would definitely recommend for anyone looking to learn! Even got to keep my leftovers and am enjoying them today.

Class: Modern Asian Comfort Food So much to love about Chef Susie's class! My husband and I were the seniors in the class and have been cooking for many, many years. Both of us love Asian cuisine and decided to branch out from our cooking comfort zone to a cuisine we both love. Chef presented the dishes in the time order of preparation so demonstrate how the menu could be handled in a short time for those of us who have 30-45 minutes to prepare a meal. As she prepared the stir-fry, she sprinkled the science of why the recipe was prepared as it was and how not to overcook the chicken, for example. However, the star of the dishes, and the one that most of us probably needed the most guidance with was dumplings. From sourcing the wraps to preparing the stuffing (in advance) to creating a basic dumpling fold to more intricate, decorative folds, to cooking, and--best of all--eating the finished product--Chef Susie helped me to conquer my fear of creating Asian dumplings. A wonderful experience over all! Enjoy!

A cooking class for two as a Valentine’s Day present couldn’t have been more perfect . The class was absolutely wonderful. We arrived with drinks, and Chef Susie was quick to get us glasses, and bottle openers. My favorite things about the class were the food, the knife skills, and the food chemistry fun facts! We made the pasilla sauce which was mind blowing, braised chicken street tacos, chocolate mousse, homemade tortillas and guacamole! Everything was so delicious! Chef Susie is very knowledgeable and truly loves teaching others how to cook. Our class went a little longer than we expected, but Chef Susie never made us feel rushed! This was such a fun date night! We’re already talking about taking another class with her.

We had a great cooking experience with Chef Aaron. In addition to teaching us how to prepare and cook delicious paella and a tasty honey mustard balsamic salad dressing, we were introduced to his chickens and had a chance to tour his garden, where he picked fresh vegetables and herbs for our class. Chef Aaron is delightful, with a good sense of humor and a passion for cooking. Since Halloween is next week, we were also treated to pumpkin macarons prepared by Chef Aaron that were scrumptious. Thanks for the extremely enjoyable, instructive, and delicious experience.

Chef Megan was incredible and deserves 10+ stars. She is super bubbly, engaging, and a fantastic storyteller which makes cooking much more enjoyable. She treated us with great hospitality and ensured everyone participated in various parts of the cooking experience. After the class, the strangers/participants felt like best friends who just created the best meal of a life time. Food was sooooooo good, we eat ourselves into a coma. Definitely take a course with Chef Megan—you will not regret it.

This was me and my girlfriends first time with a private chef cooking class and this experience was amazing. Chef Zack was welcoming, funny, energetic and a great teacher. He broke down our theme, gave us history of simple ingredients we use everyday and was open to all questions we had.. and we had a lot! The atmosphere was awesome and coupled with the food and wine, WOW! The food was very very good - down to the salad and dessert! I don’t want to give away to much about the class but all and all I highly recommend this class and we will be coming back to see what else Chef Zack has to offer. Thank you!

What an amazing experience we had with Chef Aaron! My husband and I had a private lesson at the chef's home learning how to make a seafood paella, which was absolutely delicious! Aaron had everything set up and ready to go before we arrived... great space for both dining and learning. The lesson allowed us to be very hands-on, and Chef Aaron was so patient in answering my many, many, many questions. The meal included jamon & manchego tapas, a spanish-style salad, seafood paella (complete with chorizo, mussels and shrimp), and we finished things off with a creme caramel flan. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend a night learning with Chef Aaron... we can't wait to book another class!
