Booked the class Unique Kid's Sushi Party with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)
We signed up for this class for my daughter's birthday party and Chef Parsati handled the group of 10 girls with expertise. Everyone enjoyed it. Thanks again!
Booked the class Perfecting Sushi Rolls with Chef Elham in San Jose (Northside)
We had a great time! Chef Elham opened up her home to us, had all the ingredients ready and provided a nice set up. There were 8 people in the class which made it a lot more fun. Such a great experience. The downside to it (nothing to do with the chef) the app needs to be more clear on the area that you’re booking the class in… And… There needs to be more communication before they take your money. This is legit class and the company is real. The way they book the class makes you feel like it is a scam. Other than that, Chef Elham made it a positive and fun experience.

Elham is so personable and the sushi was delicious!
Booked the class Sushi and Japanese Fare With Flair with Chef Drea in San Jose (Alum Rock)
Chef Drea was absolutely amazing! She made us feel so warm and really taught us what cooking is all about—love! She made us feel very comfortable and shared her skills, well distributed in a class full of 5. Definitely felt the 1:1 attention and she was also such a great host. Highly recommend her and her knowledge of cuisine (we took the sushi class) for anyone who is just beginning or even has a good level of experience!

Chef Elham is a very nice lady! I definitely feel a lot more confident making sushi now, but I feel the class could have been a bit more strategical and organized. It was hard to move around in the space to get to some needed items. I also was a bit overloaded with all of the demos being completed at once and trying to remember everything once it was our turn. I could have taken notes though as I understand this is typical for a cooking class. We got to meet her dog who is wonderful, but he was barking for a long time in the back room and even though she was very apologetic, I couldn't help but still be irritated by it. I know it was only her 3rd class so I'm sure there will be much improvement as she continues her teaching endeavors.
Booked the class Vegetarian Japanese Favorites with Chef Parsati in San Jose (Edenvale)
I took Chef Parsati’s vegetarian Japanese cooking class with my niece, and we absolutely loved it! The class was hands-on, beautifully organized, and full of flavor. Chef Parsati made the experience approachable and fun for all ages — she even added a braised salmon dish just for my niece, which was such a thoughtful touch. We learned so many great techniques, from sushi rolling to stir-frying perfect yakisoba noodles, and everything we made tasted incredible — especially the homemade unagi sauce and the silky green tea custard to finish. The atmosphere felt like a true izakaya experience, and Chef Parsati’s warmth and knowledge made it even more special. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking to explore Japanese cooking — whether you’re a beginner, a vegetarian, or just looking for a memorable culinary experience to share with family!

We had an excellent cooking class with Chef Parsati. She was welcoming and full of tips and knowledge. She has a lot of experience and it was cool to hear her background of all the places she has lived and learned the local cuisine. We look forward to making the dishes again for our family! Thank you.

Embarking on a culinary adventure with Chef Parasti through Cozymeal's private cooking class was an experience to cherish. Her warmth and hospitality shone through from the moment we began, making us feel right at home in the world of vegetarian Japanese cuisine. Class was very practical as we had hoped and followed the schedule described. However, Chef Parsati spoke a lot about being a zero waste kitchen while frequently throwing out food that could be saved (such as a seaweed sheet she had ripped to show the size we were aiming for)

Chef Parsati was amazing! She was extremely personable, fun to be with and really good at helping us learn. We did a private lesson with her and she taught us to cook a wonderful tailored menu. She was very communicative and got along really well with us. She was able to help my older mom also learn how to cook and went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable and understood everything. We will surely be taking more classes with Chef Parsati again! She is an excellent Chef, a warm heart and just a joy to be around.

I cannot say enough about our experience making sushi with Chef Drea. She was so warm, inviting and definitely knew her stuff! Her food prep was immaculate, her home was magical, and the food was to die for. There was more than enough for seconds and even thirds! By the end of the night my sister and I felt like we had gone to a friends house for a dinner party - it was that much fun. 100% worth the time and money!!!
Booked the class The Art of Sushi with Chef Motoko
It was really easy to communicate and coordinate with Chef Motoko-- my parents had such a lovely time cooking with her. This what they had to say: "Chef Motoko is so nice. We had such fun working with her. What a great gift. Good fun and educational." Thanks so much Chef Motoko!

Chef Motoko was incredibly informative and friendly. She definitely knows her sushi and has the right mindset for cooking. She grows some of her own ingredients, has a published sushi book, runs a blog and genuinely believes in healthy eating. She was also able to accommodate our eating preferences which really made us happy. I would definitely recommend.

Chef Motoko was wonderful. She brought ingredients from her own garden, explained where everything came from, taught us to make everything, and it was delicious!

Chef Motoko was very nice and we had a lovely evening. I was a little surprised that we didn't learn to roll sushi and just made messy-looking seaweed wraps in our hands.

I participated in this class with my daughter as a birthday gift for her. We had a great time, learned several great tips, ate way too much sushi, met people from all over the world, and left with recipes and a few gifts. I would definitely recommend this experience.

My first experience with Cozymeal was very disappointing. I took a friend for their birthday. It was very overpriced for what was actually offered ($250 for 2 people for 1 hour) The sushi tasted fine but the only thing we learned was how to roll and cut 2 sushi rolls. The first course was eliminated without mention and “class” that was suppose to be 2 hours was barely over 1 hour. There was no prep of food included and recipes were very limited.
